Mr. Reed melting down this weekend.  I don't remember too many other "Top 5" guys throwing up all over themselves on a Sunday.  I don't like to root against anyone, but I'm glad this big mouth is struggling.

I can think of one that didn't even make it to Sunday last week....... ;-)

Kucher in Houston, Scott in Orlando (or the Aussie Open), Stenson in Sweden, Bubba in Phoenix, Tigers the only one of the current Top 5 that hasn't blown a 3rd round lead this year.

Is there a point where you'd just let it go? Since the interview that started this thread, has he "run his mouth?" Perhaps he just made a mistake?

Yeah, the comments are old news. I've heard rumors and experienced first-hand the guy's a douche on the course as well, but he's young yet. He's only, what, 24? Everybody matures..hopefully he will as well. Time to put it to bed for now.

I think there are a number of people that beat dead horses into oblivions on this site, so why single out @albatross .  There are numerous Tiger haters, Phil haters, Daly haters and Sergio haters that voice their opinions so why can't a Reed hater speak his mind.  No one should feel obligated to respond to him if they don't wish to further engage in the discussion with him.

I personally am on the fence with Reed, I don't care for the arrogance he displayed in that interview but decided to see how the rest of the season went to see if he could live up to his own billing.  If he finishes Top 5 then kudos to him and his detractors should expect to eat some crow.

:offtopic: Spinach Salads are the best. With some nice feta cheese, pecans and a balsamic dressing. Spinach has soluble fiber which can help reduce bad cholesterol in the blood :-D

Because you are beating a rotting corpse.  Your comment is based on ancient history.  Wait until you have some new news to castigate him for, then we'll let you up back up.  And just to be straight, I don't like the guy at all, but I haven't made a single comment in this thread until now.       Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
