The Physiological Golf Shadow

You folks in the colder parts of the country probably don't want to see a shadow, due to that rodent, and 6 more weeks of winter thing. 

Kind of funny deal. I was golfing with tourist from Germany. Apparently over there, a person's shadow is also known as their shade.

Reminds me of the Bewitched episode where Darrin was on the golf course with his boss Larry Tate and some clients. Darrin makes the mistake of asking one of them if they inhale or exhale during their back swing, which inevitably annoyed them as they could not stop thinking about it. Classic.

To have a shadow you need some sun. Its a bit of a rarity in here in the UK at times. I'm more suprised at seeing the sun come out than i am distracted by a shadow

You need to distract yourself. Take a few practice swings with your mind on something else, such as what your swing feels like. Then hit the ball with the same thing in mind.
