I'm sorry Gunther-"off the hook?" :surrender:

Well, grandma lost her hand at a young age and yep, you guessed it, had a hook hand. So, that offends me too. ;)

Calling names is very mature. I agree.  Just don't call the guy a pimip. How sad that you have to have vulgarity and coarseness to have "fun".  And how sad that you think simple civility has ANYTHING to do with one's moral compass. You are entitled to your opinion as am I.

I never wanted to hear your opinion but since you keep pimping it out, you might as well keep it up.

Move past it, please. You don't get to determine what offends others.

I've already realized this. Rory hit a 436 yard drive too... Amazing what a little boost in the caboose this might give him. He might have to drop the US tour all together...

Umm that doesn't make sense at all.

Also, if you see the hole he hit that one, the course was dry, he got a TON of roll, and he carried it to the flat and then the rest of the hole was downhill to the green. So, he got about 100+ yards of roll out of that strike.

beautiful lady, but one evening hanging out doesn't = new relationship

If I was filthy rich and young, I'd make a point of taking my friends out to high end bars, flashing cash and hoping it attract excessively gorgeous and talented young women.  Seems like a good trick.  Much better than the nerd technique of going to cheap bars and standing quietly near women and hoping they initiate a discussion.  Even better than shouting random comments out of car windows at women on the sidewalk....

I saying this because he has only won on the Euro tour this year. I assumed there was a reason for the distance but was kidding about the dropping the PGA tour. Sorry I left off the beer steins. ;-)

Cash and obscene talent does give one a boost in self confidence I bet... If you are shouting a women from a Bentley or stretch limo, it may work well... especially in Vegas...

I don't know about all this. Rory is a little too high-profile with his so-called romances. Which to me suggests that is he is probably gay.

or Dallas ...

May not work well in Ft. Worth, unless it's a Dallasite on the town.

Attractive woman -- Rory's Irish model. I think Woz is attractive and she has a bit of a vivacious, silly personality. Witness the infamous Rory Sleeping pic and her "Serena Butt" spoof on the tennis court. May have been too big of a personality for Rors.

    • Day 11: did mirror work for a while. Worked on the same stuff.
    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
    • Day 115 12-5 Skills work tonight. Mostly just trying to be more aware of the shaft and where it's at. Hit foam golf balls.
    • Day 25 (5 Dec 25) - total rain day, worked on tempo and distance control.
    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
