That's why I think he'll win. Those 235, 240 yard shots are NO PROBLEM for Rory. He just throws darts into par fives. Ridiculous.

What's funny is it doesn't feel like Rory's playing all that great today....probably the worst he'll play all week.....yet he's still -3 for the round, tied for the best of the day. No one's gone better than 3-under today. Shows you how the wet fairways and grounds are impacting the course. The 2nd and 6th holes are par-5s playing as par-4s today.

The Grand Slam of Golf -

If Rory wins on Sunday, does he get to play two balls?

Does Kostis annoy the hell out of anyone else?? I'll take any other commentator over him any day.

I can't stand Kostis, Baker-Finch or McCord. I was about to throw my remote at the tv yesterday if i heard Baker-Finch say one more time "I like this guys chances this week." According to Finch, he likes over the field to win. And then McCord with his stupid "give me a prediction. Is this going to go in?"

Did anyone just see Tiger drain 2 30-40 foot putts in a row on the practice green?

I love how IBF says "good effort, good roll" on a missed 7 footer In other news, if I see this Rory McIlroy Omega commercial one more time I am going to blow my ****ing brains out. Tiger is on 59 watch after practice putting...

He works for NBC... Paddy just hit his tee shot to Indianapolis... Do you think Tiger Woods gets an erection when he hears "1999, 2000, 2006, and 2007 PGA champion? I would.

Excellent to see Harrington and Woods in the woods with their first tee shots. Two of my least favourite golfers.

The more I practise, the luckier I hope to get.

How can you not like a jolly Irishman? Good to see Mickelson in the rough.

    • Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.
    • Day 73: just some mirror work today. Working on feels for being open and getting the front shoulder down.
    • I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.
    • Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
    • Day 8 (Jun 8 26) - Stayed the drill but added two additional irons (7i, 8i and 9i) - using Divot Board and hard foam balls - focused on tempo and purposed pause at the top….noticing how open the club is marking the board when I try to kill it and how much more square (and better distance) when I focus on these keys.
