Mine just arrived... setting everything up now. Sadly, I probably won't get to try it on the course until next weekend... but it will be 4 rounds through that weekend!!

Played with mine for the first time today ... love it, but making it part of my routine is a challenge. Seemed like I walked back to where I last hit at 7-8 times.

It is difficult, especially when you have a bad shot and you are not thinking about tagging at that moment. Like I said in another post, I keep score on a different app at the same time and usually remember all my shots per round if I go through it that day. Usually I have to add multiple putts, mostly tap ins and a few shots here and there. If I forget to tag a shot, I will put it roughly where I was on the satellite image and go on. If it is a shot that breaks one of my previous records or could be used in a challenge I will drop it down yardage since it is not "official".

Played with mine for the first time as well.  Missed a few tags and added extras as well.  It was easy enough to edit it after I got home.

I keep score on GolfLogix and if I had not have done that I would have had a tough time editing my round after I finished.

One other thing is that I had a tag that would not work, the one on my 9 iron.  I am going to try it one more round and if it fails I guess I will have to use one of the extra tags.

I use a Garmin S6 that I keep my score on and that helped reconcile when I got home ... One thing that I found useful was it seem to know where I might have missed a shot ...

I won't be playing a round until after July 20th or so, but I got my membership and this means a whole bunch of practice and playing very soon.. At least this will finally give me a handicap of sorts ;). Can't wait!

I took 3 years off and I am struggling with a wrist injury.  I can't get my scorecard to work, so I got game golf cause I missed keeping my stats.  Don't know if it is quite the same or as good at keeping them.  So far only played 2 nine hole rounds and one of them was at an unplayable course, which didn't used to be that bad 4 years ago.

For two rounds I've used my Android phone.   It is very difficult to remember to tag each shot with the phone.

I really like the statistics but dislike when it averages in partial swings.     It is an eye opener to see the club distances though.

From the land of perpetual cloudiness.   I'm Denny

    • Day 314 - Putting some things together. Better grip/setup, fuller backswing, better finishing position. Filmed some swings, happy with the progress.
    • Day 130: did a stack session.
    • Day 206 (24 Nov 24)  - An easy session with the 54deg wedge and hard foam balls / one simple goal - distance control thru backswing length while not decelerating.  Had a playing partner comment they noticed me decelerating on a couple short wedge shots in last round.  Hit from distances from close to 40yds down to 20.
    • Musgrove Mill hole #15 was converted to a par 3 after Hurricane Helene. Today, I had 145 from the tee which is a perfect 9-iron for me. I aimed just right of the hole and pulled it a few feet. Clanked off the stick down into the hole and ricocheted out of the hole 13’ away. Drained the putt for a birdie after repairing the hole which was damaged . Not sure if it would have counted as a HIO, but I was pretty excited!
    • Day 55 - 2024-11-24 Did five levels of Operation 36 on GSPro (different courses). 🙂 Was -4 from 200 yards (32) intentionally laying up on each hole (i.e. not hitting a 5I or something). Shot… 22, 24, 26 from 25, 50, and 100 yards. I forget my 150-yard score, but obviously it was < 36. Putting was odd… (and I did it with the wedge or a 7I or whatever was in my hand).
