I thought the Horford flagrant 2 call was BS. Howard just did a way more obvious elbow/arm at Bogut's head and they called it a flagrant 1. Delly plays recklessly.

Agreed, should have been a Flagrant 1 if they're being consistent. Thought for sure Howard was gonna get tossed last night.

I disagree with the reckless comment, he plays with energy and hustle because he doesn't have the talent other guys have. The Korver play was clean, and the Horford play was 100% caused by Horford pulling him.

So the only iffy play we have from Dellavedova is the leg lock on Taj after Taj double forearmed him to the ground from behind.

Howard should have been tossed no questions asked.. Might as well have punched the other guy in the face.. That kind of outburst should never be tolerated. The refs should be ashamed of themselves IMO.. What was it? Were they worried about ratings if Howard left the game?

I'm glad Curry isn't out of the playoffs because of a concussion.

I thought this was a good article about the rift between the Bulls front office and Thibodeau.

Yeah that was pretty bad looking. He wouldn't have been out for good, but probably would have been done until the Finals.

However, Rockets are no pushover, even being down 0-3. I wouldn't be surprised to see a very close game 5...

I would love to see this rift and the one between Rose and Butler lead to Butler looking to sign elsewhere (Re: Sixers) and the Bulls not matching. A starting lineup of Embiid, Noel, Saric, D'Angelo Russell and Butler would be awesome.

Wishful thinking, I know.

Howard elbows more than anyone else in the NBA. Guy has a short fuse.

As for the game...crazy first quarter by the Rockets....so many 3's dropping.

Oh come on, give the cavs SOME credit. I'm sure the Warriors won't sweep them, they'll probably lose at least once.

Ha! Actually chuckled out loud at that one.

And don't count out zombie Houston just yet. (I hope it's GS, we matchup better)

Could see the finals going 7 games...coin flip as to who wins. If Irving is healthy, Cavs. If not, probably GS.

GSW vs Cavs is going to be amazing.

It's so hard to pick.

Go for it. I think both teams could beat us right now, but GS doesn't have the size to stop LeBron, Mozgov, and Thompson.

That's in no way me saying we win...I still picked GS to win it before the postseason started...but I like our chances against GS over Houston.

NBA All-Defensive first and second teamers (respectively) Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut would beg to differ, I imagine.

We'll see starting June 4th. Gave up 40+ pts to Houston in a quarter. One quarter.

And all the other quarters? :-) -------------------------- On an unrelated note, there are now 10 NBA players to make the NBA Finals in 5 straight years: 8 Celtics from the 60s (all HOFers), LeBron James, and ... James Jones.

Demarre Carroll held Lebron James to 2pts in the first quarter of game one of this series.

One quarter.

And all the other quarters?

Hmmm ... something different in both cases I'm guessing.

But that (those) one quarters.  mm, mm, mmm.

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
