Are they better than E6's?

That u don't know I haven't played the E6 and I play the MyTour golf ball but my fiancé and another friend who play this ball, say it's the best ball for the money they have played.

I don't like to play the e6, but I would play the GET SUM in wet conditions where the greens are receptive. When conditions are dry, I like the Snell MTB or Chrome Soft.

I really have trouble playing a ball without a Urethane cover. I usually play Srixon Z-star or the stash of Penta TP3's that I still have. I thought about the Top Flight Gamer Tour but the website says it is for swing speeds around 90. Not sure how that would effect me w/ swing speed 100-105. Any thoughts?

I played the Nike One Black and Tour D for years. Then I tried the Nike Rzn ball the 1st year they came out and hated it. It felt like I was hitting a rock. I may have given up on the Nike Rzn ball too soon. They seem to be getting better reviews the last two years.

It depends on the model. The $25/dz model whatever that one is... Is pretty soft. Then they also have the 20XI that isn't like hitting a goddamn rock.

  • 2 weeks later...

Played through a full bucket of balls hit into the back yard of a friends dad when I first started.  Hated pinnacle and Top flight and couldn't tell much difference on most of the others.  I settled in with Noodle long and softs because I felt like I lost the fewest of those haha:banana: I'm sure I'll play something different when I get better but I figure If I play the same clubs every time I should probably play the same ball aswell.

    • I've been thinking about buying a hitting mat for home indoors use. I currently only got a small patch of some mat I bought years ago and stand on a wooden platform. It'd be nice having a mat to stand on and hit from. After some searching, I see Fiberbuilt often being praised. Not sure if I can get hold of it easily here, and buying internationally can get expensive for a mat that's already quite pricey (~$800). The Wittek Quattro is also usually favorably mentioned, and at half the price (~$400) of the Fiberbuilt. Anyone have experince with this mat? Any other suggestions?
    • It just occurred to me that the last time I was serious about golf, my woods were made of….wood! Also interestingly (to me anyway) as I shopped for “woods”, mostly on eBay, I found that all the clubs in really nice cosmetic/aesthetic shape (good finish, nice club face, good grip) were woman’s clubs. Seems they either take really good care of them or don’t use them much.    And lastly, for now anyway, I went to a range today that has Top Tracer monitors at all the stations - another “new” development that may have been around for quite a while, but this was a first for me. I found it useful although I’m sure I only scratched the surface of its capabilities.
    • Agreed. For me, the feel was introduced to get the arms moving down from the top. It wasn't necessarily a "get it in front of the hip" explanation as the correct position but more for an exaggerated feel to get rid of the earlier issue.
