This is really funny for a couple of reasons:

A)  You were quoting yourself so it kind of looks like you are also berating yourself here.

And, that considered ... your PS becomes twice as funny!!

As far as the green reading things ... no, you don't need those.  Take Aimpoint.  (If you haven't already).  Hell, with Aimpoint, you don't even need EYES.

According to another poster in another thread, you only need geometry.

It might be illegal but it would still be good for practice to chart greens and write it down so next time you play course you have the right info instead of guesswork.

Maybe. I wouldn't know, I use AimPoint. Green maps are kind of general, right? How do you get precise reads for specific putts?

Generally players will putt from different areas of greens to get the breaks and lines where the breaks are subtle and chart them that way but from looks of those glasses it may cut down on all the putting work and time it would take to try the putts yourself all over the greens but that's onl;y if those glasses actually work and I don't exactly want to spend 199 dollars to find out haa.

Well I know nothing about Aimpoint and unless it magically points out breaks I cant see anyways im not sure it would help me because unless a break is obvious I cannot read a green to savemy life.

Ok, that literally makes no sense. "I'm really bad at reading greens so [something that teaches me to read greens better] won't help me." Say whaaaa???

Lets just say id be surprised if Aimpoint class could make me see something invisible to my own eyes but like I said I don't know anything about what Aimpoint  teaches.

You don't just use your eyes with Aimpoint. And no it's not "the force", but pretty darn close to feeling like you have it when a ball drops from 20 feet or more.

I looked it up and there is a class next sat about 50 miles away but doesn't tell how much it cost.Im imagining it might be lil costly since it says 2 hour class.

It's not cheap at all, but well worth it. I want to take more advanced ones now, but still have work to do on the chipping/pitch shots before starting another venture.

That's the whole point, your eyes suck at green reading. Everybody's eyes suck a green reading. So don't use them.

To get back on topic, are we sure this would be illegal?  If it just uses optics (i.e., no electronic of any kind) then how is it really different than sunglasses?  Or even just regular glasses?  In all cases the glasses are using optics to enhance your ability to see, and hence to play, the shot.  It certainly FEELS like it should be illegal, but . . .
