Yes very compelling, an exciting time for golf.  I was thankful that CBS hardly mentioned Tiger today... there is often so much Tiger noise, I get tired of it.

thankfully I DVR'd it so I could fast forward where needed ----the sport is slow as molasses.

It's not the sport's fault, there was one moment this weekend...i honestly can't remember what day or time it was, but there was a good full minute where the golf channel showed like 8 shots back to back. It was not a highlight, it was live. It was quick, fast, and dare I say exciting. I was like what the hell just happened?! That was amazing!

If it was like that all the time, no one would complain.

I like listening to Johnny Miller - he does a good job in filling in the dull periods - not sure I'm a Faldo fan and have tired of Nantz and especially McChord's schtick.  I've gotten to the point where I start watching 1 to 2 hrs after the DVR has captured the event and fast forward through the commercials - yesterday I caught up by the time the leaders hit the 18th hole....worked out fine.

I get my signals over the air and they said something about going to a west coast feed when the  2nd playoff was about to begin.  It was getting late and they don't want to disturb or interupt the much need trash that pays their bills.  I did not even wait around for the tv and headed upstairs to the computer for the cbssports.com feed.  I watched it but had to turn the sound off.  Everything was totally messed up with everybody that had a microphone talking at the same time and the same things being repeated word for word.  Something got lost in translation but it was entertaining with just the video playing.

Where i live they cut the golf off at 630 before the playoff began for the local evening news and i was pissed.I had to turn on the puter to watch it then my comp freezes up pissing me off more before the golf channel cuts to it.
