Poll to see how many holes per day a person can sustain.

I've talked to a lot of people who play daily, every other day and weekly. Many of them think playing every day is a little too much, some feel it is normal.

Just wondering how much every can play per week if not limited by anything other than their endurance.

Comments are welcome!

I checked for 2 per week as an average over the year.

In the summer my record is over 14 days in a row.

Answered the poll too soon. I average less than one round per week. Without any other limitations, I'd play at least 5 rounds per week.

Too much golf for me is when I play so much, my game starts to unravel due to complacency. I lose interest. I played 4 rounds last week. I will probably play 2 or 3 this week. (poor fishing right now...lol)  Maybe next week I won't play at all. Who knows?

Of course,  since my area of the country looking at several consecutive days in the 70+ degree range, perhaps a golfing road trip might be in order.

On the first point, this is kind of what I am trying to get at.

The second point, please keep in mind that the object of this poll us is not to torture the northerners on this site. . .

I really need a day off if I play 3 days in a row. Other than that, in a perfect world I'd probably play 2 days and take one off.....

I will tee it up as often as I can. It's difficult because I'm always in a group of gamblers, but I manage. The key is the early tee time and I love playing for new Footjoys.

Can you quantify "as often as I can"?

Guessing $1 skins in a foursome?

No your shoes, unless they are cheap. But you knew that. I wish I could play in a group like yours, it's been a long time since I played old guys at the club as a kid for tiny scratch. Miss those days.

Me, too. I answered once a week because that's about what I play during the season, but I'd play four times a week if I could. @Lihu you should have worded the question better :-P

This is true. It's the only reason I don't play 7 days a week...

Even $1 skins is my limit. I usually play for $0.25 or less per skin, if at all. :-D

Yes, the poll question was wrong. I thought I typed "How much could. . ." not "How much do. . .". Not sure what happened there.

Lihu, Do you play at a club? If so, what is the game for the group?

I haven't officially joined yet, and am deciding between two of them. One is local to my home town and the other in city where I work. Most of the members are pretty good. It's a tough decision, and joining both is a little too much.

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
