Yeah, but we don't want his fingertip to fall off on about hole 12, and have to put up with the bleeding for 6 more holes.

Golf shouldn't be an issue in two weeks, though it'll be sore and I might not be able to wear a glove. I will tape it on real good so it doesn't fall off.

Good news, especially the part about securely taping it on.

I hear superglue works well to reattach digits, or as makeshift stitches.

I can't out-do @k-troop regarding finger injuries, but I snipped a substantial chunk of my left forefinger last week while trimming back some of the larger grasses in my yard. Ouch. I'd have gone to the ER for stitches, but I snipped such a chunk that I really didn't see how stitches would've helped! Took hours to get it to stop bleeding!

So if finger issues come in three's watch out, MidAtlantic outing folks. Who's next?

Hoping mine heals mostly by next week when I'm in Hilton Head visiting family.  Might be able to get at least a couple rounds in there to start my season.

Damn. Should heal up enough in two weeks though (I was a doctor in my previous life). Practice is for the weak of heart and shaky faith.

Gentlemen, I've been around the game for over 40 years, and I can see a "negotiation" for more strokes when I see it.  And its not working!

As @jsgolfer says, we'll all be together in less than two weeks.  Stoneleigh is in really nice shape, the greens are rolling really true and pretty fast for this time of year, the rough is starting to grow, and  many of the trees and flowers are starting to bloom.  I'm sure Springfield is in great shape too.

  I wouldn't mind hearing from each of you just to confirm that we're all on track.  Here's the list as I have it now:

Saturday, April 9, Stoneleigh

@DaveP043, @jsgolfer, @GolfLug, @RandallT, @davechen, @Jeremie Boop, @SavvySwede, @k-troop, @dsc123

Cost to be $53.50 if we have all 9 players (6 prepaid at $50, one more at the normal rate of $75, averaged 7 ways)

Sunday, April 10, Springfield

@DaveP043, @jsgolfer, @GolfLug, @RandallT,@Jeremie Boop, @SavvySwede

Cost to be $90.

I think Jerry is trying to get the Sunday tee times starting at 11:00 AM.  We're set to go at noon on Saturday.  To allow those driving from further away a chance to get here without leaving way before dawn.  I can almost certainly move that up to 11 if that works for everyone.

Last thing, does anyone need help with lodging or directions?

We found out that my wife has to go out of town for work that weekend.  Could my son play also on Saturday?  If so, we'll be there.  If that's not possible, then I'll have to stay home with him.

We can make that work, we're taking 3 tee times anyway.

Cool!  That's what I figured, with 3 tee times.  I'd be happy to pay the normal rate for both of us.

I'm in for both. Earlier the better for me on both days. But I'll gladly defer to anyone who needs the extra time with travel hours. Thanks again to you guys for organizing!!!

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
