I'd still think it was pretty much pointless, but sure, if you can snap your fingers and have a wall appear, fine by me.

Interesting.  I think most (IMO) are not against it for cost reasons.

I just don't really see it happening at all.

@saevel25 has quite vociferously admonished us for bringing Hillary up in this thread, because you know, it's entitled Donald Trump for President.  It's OK to talk about Trump's current opponents but evidently not the next one.

Not sure if that policy will be waived once the primary season is over but I'll leave those decisions to smarter folks than me.

Seriously? This is the worst election I been through in my lifetime (I'm 56). It's like a Junior High School election with 11-12 year old boys running. Add to that that they started a year ago, and it is embarrassing. You can't be proud of this crap, can you?

I never said I was proud, simply entertained. We have turned into a reality show culture, and the greatest one is playing out right before our eyes.

The unfortunate reality is the most Americans' attention span is simple too weak for typical politics and positions, etc. Trump has figured this out and realizes his path to winning is through capturing America's attention through these antics. It's unfortunate, but he understands what it will take to win, he's the smartest man in the room by playing dumb.

This is more true than ever:

Saw the pic of Melania from over 15 years ago - provocative but does not show anything - move along... just another example of Ted Cruz stooping (good word) to anything to win.

Entertained? Don't know. A cynic might be entertained. I have mixed feelings. I think it is good to shake things up, but  don't know if it will do any good. I think it says a couple of things -- that most citizens do not enjoy continual obstructionism and they want a leader that they see once in a while and gets fiery when the situation calls for it. So this election seems a result of nothing getting done and a lack of fiery leadership. (Obama, can I say that name?, is far too rational, cool, deliberate and laidback, and seems to enjoy being out of the public's eye -- which is odd. I do not agree with his style/mode of leadership) It's a balance and the balance is out of whack. It's sad and disappointing from all sides, and I hope we come together rather than move farther apart.

Seriously.  And Trumps campaign promises fall right in line with an 8th graders.

"Every day will be pizza or burrito day at lunch!"

and

"I will shorten classes each by 2 minutes so we can add 14 minutes to recess!"

This actually sounds like a Bernie campaign promise, tbh.

He did an interview with the Washington Post editorial board. I'll leave it here without comment.

Read the entire thing.

Absolutely dumbfounded!!!

    • I think we are all a bit worried about David in FL.  David, if you're reading this please drop in to say "All is good."
    • The only reason why it wasn't 20+ points for US was Rahm. Go look at SG stats for these teams, then come back and tell me how close they are in skill. Obviously the EU team has talent, but lots of it is waning (I include Rory in this as I don't think we will ever see him in the top 10 on OWGR ever again). Older players have more experience, but are passed their prime when it comes to skill level. The EU team could have definitely played worse. The US team played well, but JT, Spieth and Berger were less than good IMO. If those guys are playing up to their normal standards it could have been worse for EU. This x1000. I don't think Rory will ever play like he used to, and in 2 years he could be in Fowler territory. I know RF was never at that high of a peak, but Rory's current trajectory looks bleak to me. Hovland and Hatton are the only others in the top 20 (owgr) besides Rahm, and while I suspect they will stay there, I don't see any other EU players likely to get in. Fleetwood and Lowry would be the closest or best shots to do it (Fitzpatrick is higher ranked but I don't think that giving up that much off the tee will get him higher on owgr), but I don't have particularly high hopes for either of them, although I like both of them.
    • Yeah, wind was coming strong from left to right and once it got above the tree line it moved over the sand trap and towards that single tree.  So my best estimate was somewhere between those two lines.  The group I was with made me re-tee since they were trying to beat me so I did since I didn't know the rule.  Now I know so that won't happen again.  I won anyway so all good.
