I don't care what your political affiliation is, cheating at golf says a lot about you.

Okay, this is kind of compelling, but would like more examples of his on course cheating. . .

My reply was from a book about entrepeurs.  Bascially, it said all people could be divided into one of three groups:

1.  People who are entrepeneurs.

2.  People who want to be entrepeneurs.

3. People who think entrepeneurs are NUTS.

The DONALD and I fit into category #1.  That should explain A LOT about our behaviors. Into which category do you fit?

Most people think Donald Trump is nuts for reasons wholly unrelated to his entrepreneurial nature. It'd be some real Jedi mind trick work to try to reframe that animosity as reflecting an indictment of free enterprise and investing.

Category 1 and 2, but I don't fabricate my own rules of golf and make everyone I know else play by them. :-D:-P:-D

He doesn't "technically" cheat at golf, because apparently he has not yet turned in any scorecards. . .or is that fact wrong?

So he's posted 14 scores over the last 4 years?  If I was on the handicap committee (and if he didn't own the club), he'd have had his handicap rescinded, or he'd have posted more scores.

The spell check reference dictionary is most likely based on English. A good writer will always spell check their work.

Entrepreneur is an English word (it's in English dictionaries). The French origin is entreprendre, IIRC.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to be the guy rescinding his handicap, he owns all three of the clubs in question. . .

Seeing as he didn't turn in scorecards, I winder if an assistant posted for him? All they need is his GHIN number. . .

I'm sure if it came up in the debates for some obscure reason, he might use that as a reason?

For those who support Trump or think he is OK of a human being (never mind being a potential POTUS), consider what his behavior patterns have been.  He has been a bully, brat, bigot, liar, ignorant, unapologetic, sexist, racist, braggart, vain, xenophobic, ...  This is not what we want a fellow man to be, never mind a GOP POTUS nominee.

I studied leadership while climbing a corporate ladder - took courses and seminars, read books, went through number of training.   In one of the studies (and my experience validated it) claimed that something like 60 - 70% of employees end up copying their manager's behavior pattern over time.   Do Trump supporters really want Trump to be the POTUS, and the country to be run by Trump and his lookalikes and wannabees?   I really don't think so.   Stop being awestruck by a media created, reality show star.   Find an alternative among other candidates who are far more qualified than the Trump.

You're seemingly obsessed with Donald Trump. You and @saevel25.

Admittedly, I don't read the political topics much, but… this just keeps reading like a pile-on type topic every time I quickly skim the posts.

Half of those are tournament rounds. Don't you have to turn in a scorecard for those? I guess maybe not if you own the tournament.

Yeah, that's kind of the point behind the accusations of his cheating. Not only does he not cheat because he owns the tournament, but he doesn't really play golf the way we all know and love the game.

This is very quotable. . ."He just. . .he doesn't lose. He just doesn't lose" -Tom Brady :-D

As president, I'm sure he'll probably make up rules just so he (or we I hope, if by some minor miracle he gets elected?) doesn't lose either. :-P

There is no general requirement for turning in a scorecard, whether the score is for a tournament round or not.  My guess is that he posts the rounds where lots and lots of people have seen him competing, as in a pro-am before a PGA tour event, but posts relatively few casual rounds.

His swing is kind of goofy but I've seen worse. With all those mid 80's in there his handicap would be higher if he posted more scores. It's stays low because it takes forever for the lower scores to drop out, if those are even legit.

    • Day 132: did some mirror work while watching TV. Worked on backswing stuff primarily.
    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
