Morning foursomes.

Surprised by Koepka / Snedeker, but maybe a paring along the lines of Walker / Zach in the first session? Europe looks to be doing similar by breaking up Rose / Stenson to shelter their shorter / weaker players a bit. If they play Saturday afternoon, will those two be a little weary come Sunday?

That's probably the best use of players Clarke could have gone for. i doubt he'll be in the position to rest more than one of Garcia/Rose/Stenson/Mcilroy for the afternoon.

With Kaymer and Westwood so out of sorts, it's really up to those big guns and the rookies to carry us through. Paul Casey or an in form G-Mac would be a nice addition right now.

Mickelson and Fowler (team GPS) have no business playing foursomes. DL3 has got to stop listening to everything Phil says. Neither one of these guys should be playing in the afternoon.

On another note, I love this Snedeker/Koepka team.

I've always been pretty indifferent when it comes to Rory but he really has been conducting himself like a DB this week. Screaming at the fans after your partner makes a 3 footer to halve the hole. Give it a rest dude

Bunker lip-skilled chip-70 foot putt.

A routine par when Mickelson is part of the proceedings.

He's taken on the role of the heel since Ian Poulter isn't playing.  It's out of character for Rory, as he usually prefers to be the quiet nice guy, but Clarke may have asked him to be a leader.

Um... He's reacting to douchebaggery they are experiencing from the idiots in the crowd. I think he's justified in how he's reacting.

I don't think so, I think he's just sick of the stupid comments and actions of the people in the crowd. Possibly he's a bit more upset because he's usually so well liked here? Either way, I don't have a problem with the way he's reacting, I have a problem with the fact that people are actually being such assholes in the crowd.

Fair enough. I suppose if it were on the US side I wouldn't mind it, but to me it just feels a bit contrived to try and compensate for his 'exhibition' comments he made about the RC years ago. But I think you're probably right.

I just wish a real US team were playing against Rory and not the mess of a Phil-Fowler team.

What are the crowds doing that you disagree with?

I believe Phil and Rory were sacrificed to take on a hot Rory / Pieters team just as the Euro's sacrificed Stenson and Fitzpatrick

Have you not heard stupid things like, cheering on balls going in the hazards, or even the most recent thing where someone yelled when Pieters was setting up to putt? I've noticed multiple instances of these types of things yesterday. There's no place for that sort of behavior in my opinion.

**Edit** I will concede that it seems to be a bit better today than it was yesterday, but it's still quite early. Hopefully stays better and keeps improving.
