Had no idea but do now. Middle finger, right hand started locking and popping 6 months ago. Comes and goes but most of the time its stuck. Trigger finger sucks! Had the toenail issue as well but not recently.

I read some about it and it seems we might have to have surgery to fix it......

Anyone have anything weird happen to their bodies after really getting into golf?

Yeah this.....

In terms of injuries I hurt my right wrist in high school hitting a shot off a tree root. Had some bad plantars fasciitis (might have been due to golf) a few years ago but that has gone away since I've started working out/doing squats.

Man I hate plantars. I feel your pain there.

My left ankle is sore a lot. It came from an old mountain biking injury where I had a stick I ran over impale in my shin. When I start the season, it will be sore even if I wrap it. Then it will get better. Then for some reason it will get sore again. I do exercises to keep it strong, but the soreness comes back at random times.

Two main things. I don't use a glove, so I got a pretty gnarly callus that runs along the side of my left index finger. When I walk, which is roughly 75% of the time, I get a sort of itchy, flaking condition on a small portion of the outside of my right foot. It generally goes away after two days of not playing.

+1 to this. Also one of the reasons why I try not to wear golf gloves anymore.

As for golf related injuries. I had a recurring injury from high school when I sprained my ankle. I've rolled my left ankle a few times before, walking and catching the side of a depression in the ground.

Besides that I've been pretty lucky in terms of injuries related to the golf swing, knock on wood.

I've had recent pain in the top of both of my shoulders. It just started last month kind of intermittent. I'm thinking it is the number of rounds I play that is starting to take it's toll. So far since I retired 6 years ago I have exceeded 300 rounds per year

Definitely had some weird stuff happen when I first wanted "more distance" and went about it like a typical hacker.

Since taking up golf 4+ years ago, I've had lower back issues, what I can only guess is arthritis in the fingers of my left hand, and recently minor pain in my left shoulder. It's hard to know whether these are from golf or from a lifetime of more abusive sports finally catching up to me.
