What'd You Shoot Today?

I shot 76 today. When I found the fairway, I hit a few shots to 3-4 feet and converted for birdie. The trouble was finding the fairway. I chipped in on the first hole for par, for example...

It was really a tale of two nines. Blistered the driver on the back nine, but shot +4 on the front. Even on the back. Was down 3 in a nassau on the front, won the back and total +5 (and +2).

Then I went to the range and got some video of my horribly ugly flat inside swing that needs some work...

I shot a 86 it was humid for me and the course was covered with puddles.

I shot a 74 today, only one off the course record at my home course. Had a double on #8 on the front nine, and it was hard to recover and get excited on the back. Oh well.

Shot a really erratic round. Started on the back 9 bogeyed the 10th and 11th 2 pars, double, par, then 3 straight bogeys for 43, played better on the front with 4 bogeys, 3 pars, one birdie going good until the last hole where I tripled for a 41, 84, 13 over argh.

79 (40-39) 50% of fairways, 2 putts per GIR, 31 putts. It's my personal best and not bad considering I have two three putts and one shot OB

Shot a 38 on the back nine not driving the ball very well - I was standing too close to it, I discovered on the 18th tee. Two failed sand saves = two bogeys. Not a single putt got to the hole.

Then played eight holes (a mix) with just a five iron - for putting, everything. Two par fives, no par threes. Shot +4 on those eight holes.

Uninspiring 42 with a couple three putts and some mediocre chipping.

in between of waiting off the downpours and running away from lightnings - I managed two solid rounds of 77 and 76 this weekend. Driver is still the biggest issue - FT-3 is back in the garage... I think I leveled with my game, where a difference between high 70's or 80 round and close to par round is only putting... quite happy about it

34 37 only 2 birdies were on the back nine and they were both 3 putts...man i was pissed...still have not shot below a 71...getting annoying

i shot a 83 (37/46) in a junior tournament yesterday, which was good enough for 3rd, so i get a plaque!! it was really rainy though...anyone who lives along the east coast can attest to how rainy its been the past couple of days...on the back nine i i had a 3 foot putt for birdie, then 3 putted, the next hole i missed a two foot par putt, and on 17 i hit the wrong ball and ended up with an 8, but the guys i played with were cool and we had a good time.

I shot a 37/38 for a 75, 3 over at my home course yesterday. It was a beautiful day here in Minnesota, clear blue sky, amazing golf day. I've been trying to get as many rounds in as I can because we're hosting a Nationwide event in a couple of weeks. Happy playing everyone.

a record tying low score for me on a course i never been to (49+41=90) The round started of like crap because i didn't have time to do a pre round warm up. The back nine was great with one birdie and one double boogie and the rest wer pars and boogies. Needed a par at the last for a new low of 89 and didn't hit the put firm enough. The pitch from 30 yards was perfect landed on target rolled right to the pin and bounced off to 8 feet. Then a miss put for a 90. SON OF A B#^@H. My head still hurts where i smacked it with the putter for not making a firmer put. Had the right line just peaked at the hole when it hooked by. Of course the two double boogies at 1 and 2 didn't help. But never the less a record tying low score at a course i never even laid eyes on................i'm stoked i can't wait till next round here at home. Oh almost forgot about the 30 footer for the lone birdie on the round. what a bomb that was.

I had 15 pars, two bogeys, and one mess (for double... and that from 115 yards in on a par 5 no less, but el Shanko appeared because I tried to give a shot some extra gas). It was one of the most boring 76s ever. I made no birdie putts despite hitting just about every green.

Had an exciting and frustrating round yesterday. Started out DOUBLE DOUBLE........ , birdie, bogie. Then parred in for a 40 on the front. Started the back birdie, birdie, par, birdie, birdie, par, par. Then, I crapped the bed- Double, bogie, to shoot -1, 35 on the back. WHY CAN'T I KEEP A GOOD THING GOING? God do I love/ hate this game. I'll take a 75, but this minus 3 holes was under par.

Wednesday night league. I had a 6 over 37. 5 Bogeys, 1 Double, 2 Pars and 1 Birdie. Decent ball striking, but mediocre putting and short game. Missed a hole-in-one by inches.

Welp, today was a record breaker...first off i finally got 3 birdies in a row...a little shocker for me b/c i figured i would have done it by now, but now i have conquered it. Then i shoot a 32...lowest 9 holes for me ever...i didnt get to play the back b/c it was so crowded but i did go home and play some cornhole and kicked ass in that as well...

Played 18 holes in a skins game with only three clubs (three of us all had only three clubs, not just me). Didn't shoot great, didn't shoot poorly. Had lunch.

Then played 9 holes match play best-ball and decided that I had to actually play golf, not give a weak lame cut pass at the ball as I had been doing. Hit every fairway, hit nearly every green (spun a few off the front), and made 8 straight pars. Then the match was over and I just tried to hit the ball hard on the last tee which, of course, never works very well. So, when I had to turn it on, I was able to. A good solid grind. Very happy about that.
