Hole in 1 today at Goodrich Country Club in Goodrich, MI.   184 par 3 using a 4H.   I thought the shot was long but couldn't find it past the green.   I looked in the hole and sure enough...

I guess I didn't even notice that I don't have the Eagle badge. I've made two eagles this year. One at Angel Park in LV and one at Bent Tree in Sunbury, OH.

Been away for a while since coming back from UCL injury. I have broke 80 this season. I have also had 4 eagles this season. Most recent on hole 15 at Glenross, 2 at Wyandot on hole 10 and hole 17 and 1 at Bent Tree on hole 15.

We plaid both of course. Well, technically we played all three. We played the par 3 under the lights the night we arrived in town. Then we played Palm on a Saturday and Mountain on the following Sunday. I think I preferred the Mountain. 

But I made the Eagle on the Palm.

I haven't been here for a while, but been playing and practicing regularly.

Managed to make my first Eagle on hole 3 (par 5) at Amsteldijk on the 15th of August this year, even playing the white tees (back tees). Driver off the tee ended up in perfect position so I could cut the dogleg between the trees with my 3 wood for the second shot. The ball rolled up onto the green and stopped about 2 meter next to the flag.  I've had a few opportunities for Eagle before this year, but this was the first time that the putt went in.

      It appears like it is a higher quality device, which was a gripe of mine with the Shotscope V2 and V3 watches. Even though I never had an issue with either watch, they just felt a little cheap compared to comparably priced Garmin watches. Another gripe of mine about the watch was that the band, which houses the RFID antenna so there are not aftermarket options, would constantly come loose. It seems like the company takes customer feedback and incorporates that into their product design. I'm hopeful some of the features on the new watch, especially the on screen pin placement and score tracking, might appear in a future version of handheld. I wouldn't go back to the watch version either, but I like the improvements.

      Note for the backswing hip turn. The trigger for the downswing hip transition might feel like I just increase pressure in the lead foot. Don’t feel the hips gain extra turn just for the sake of using that momentum to turn forward. When practicing my backswing I can feel myself want to gain extra turn to trigger the downswing turn.

      I disagree. I’d love to be able to hit that many balls a day. Hell I hit around 600 balls a week while still holding a full time job as a physician. It’s not work. It’s sheer enjoyment. 🙂
