Iv'e been searching for this club for years and finally found it at the goodwill for 5 dollars. It has a huge hitting area 595 cm and a really good head design.Today's 2016 drivers even have less hitting area than this stick it comes with a very old heavy x factor shaft but for me it's the head that's intriguing. It's made of zolex better than titanium usga legal and was even praised by callaway back in 1998 as being innovative.

I'm assuming to show the difference in size in the hitting areas, since he mentioned that.

You gotta look out for counterfeit zolex. Black market drivers are made of shandet and don't hold up to the powing. You have tap the head at 32 degrees and if it sounds like "E" minor its counterfeit....

He's confusing the manufacturer's name with whatever material it is made out of. Zolex is the manufacturer, it is not a material. It is, however, also a hand cleaning agent.

No zolex is the material it's not titanium maybe some kinda ceramic claimed 300% harder than titanium twice as light.

Anyway Here is my official test results vs my current driver in wet conditions

Current driver 45 or 46 inch project x stock shaft in white with red graphics and an 8.5 ignite 410 cc head circa 2006. vs hammer terrible heavy x factor shaft 10 degree head.

best drive today 58 degree weather wet fairway hammer 250 yards

my driver 268 winner is Nike clearly hammer felt ok but looks like a POS!!!

See, the thing is, if you Google "Zolex" all you get is the hand cleaner. If it truly were 300% stronger than Titanium and twice as light, you would've heard about it being used in spacecraft. Since I haven't heard of it at all, I'm going to guess that by "harder" you mean "more brittle" and that the driver is liable to shatter in the cold if you hit it hard.

Who knows it's a POS like everyone else has claimed I really liked the head design concept and it's not to far off in terms of design however it's components suck. Yes the m1 driver and Hammer was used in a comparison of a 20 year old prototype and current 2016 top tech.

So does this mean you're no longer "stoked"?

Or break at 32 degrees when hit with a "E" minor tuning fork...

The difference in results could be shaft and strike tho?  With that weird shaped head and depending on how you swing the CG may be wayyyy different than your ingnite. meaning your sweetspot on the ignite could be high toe but on the hammer may be heely.

    • I have trouble with vertigo on occasion, but have gotten nutritional and biofeedback tips to keep it at bay. Dehydration can help trigger v-like symptoms so one recommendation, along with maintaining overall hydration, is to start with 8 oz. of water early in the morning. A meta-analysis on Golf As Physical Activity indicated that golf is rated as a moderately intensive physical activity. This scientific literature review came from the University of Edinburgh. The physical activity level ties into hydration. A former university colleague was a marathon runner who had published a couple of articles on endurance training. He likewise said that golf was a moderate physical activity especially when the round stretched past  the two-hour mark. For hydration he recommended switching from water to electrolyte drink on the back nine (past two hour point of exercise) to prevent cramping. At the two-hour point of moderate activity, water starts flushing electrolytes out of the body, which can lead to fatigue and cramping. (I have had trouble with leg cramps in the past during exertion.) During a round, I start out with water on the front nine and switch to sports drink on the back nine. If the day is unusually hot, I may drink 8 oz. of Pedialite concentrate before going to the course. Maintaining overall hydration plus on-course boosters keeps me going.
    • Personally I’d try booking direct first - either via the Vidanta golf reservations number/email or through the resort concierge - especially for Christmas/New Year. Vidanta’s main courses (Greg Norman and Nicklaus designs) are popular and can book out fast this time of year, so direct often gives you the best shot at your preferred tee times.
