I too signed up.   I've not used that ball before but am eager to try it.    Thanks.

I bought 20 each lakeballs of ProV1, Chrome Soft and TM Tour Preferred to compare. I feel little difference between Cally and TM balls, but don't like the feel of the ProV: too hard off the driver face for my liking. Driver carry circa 220. Like them all for the short game. Will probably stick to Chrome Soft as best value.

For when @Jeremie Boop's link runs out (I think one more person). My daughter @NatalieB will get them.

I've been enjoying the new Bridgestone balls. I don't buy into the whole fitting balls for swing speed and I find the B330RX-S work best for me even though I swing around 110-112 on average. Great balls, good amounts of spin, and 20$ cheaper than Prov1s

I think you're comparing prices on 2015 B330-RXS with 2016 Pro V1.  The new and "improved" B330-RXS go for $40

Pro Vs

I find lots of balls in the woods

The one I find the most of is Pro Vs

I think they have a large chunk of the market

Gave the Bridgestone e5 another shot. Last trial was the 2012 model which performed great but felt like a brick. Bought some after a live chat with a rep on Bridgestones website. They dropped the compression to around 75. Feels great, high launch, great approach and greenside spin. Feels good off the putter. Balls dont roll off green on me anymore, and my scores are coming down so after three rounds with it, I bought four dozen.

I don't typically like to do these things, but if anyone wants to get a free sleeve of the project {a} golf balls you can use this link. Full disclosure, it gives me a free sleeve for the first 4 people who use it also.

Fantastic. I did get an email this week from Taylormade letting me know that they were backed up due to a large response in the promotion. Who'd have thought they'd get so many people signing up for free golf balls right, rofl. Happy to know that people are getting their sleeves.

I use the ProV1x. I'm not even sure why other than i know what it does. I know I don't use the ProV because I spin it too much for my liking. I haven't used one in years, so maybe they're more durable now, but i used to chew up the covers more on regular ProVs more than I did the 1x.

    • I believe I have finally figured out the grip! And I can tell a difference when it’s not right. I’d like to thank Erik for all of his patience and my supporters @GolfLug & @boogielicious for being there in my low spots. Of course, my wife & kids for the hours spent watching me grip a club incorrectly, quietly mocking me but not out loud.
    • Shot an 89, 12.2 differential.
    • There's no such thing as the spirit of the rule. And, you do realize how insanely small the time window and the level of water is for water to come up with one person standing there but not another person, right? It's basically never going to actually happen like that. There are lots of rules like this: a 7' tall person's knee height drop is from higher up than a 4' tall junior's drop. Their driver is also longer, so they get a larger relief area. What are you gonna do? Beyond that, my reply to you is the same as @DaveP043's: write a better one. This one is easy to understand and enforce. The penalty for playing from a wrong place is two strokes, so no, it's not significant. In that sense, the potential advantage must be > 2 strokes. No, it's not "irrespective of it." That's why the penalty exists. If it's significant, it's a DQ, which is the ultimate penalty. See above. They don't need to judge that. No, he didn't. He could have taken one stroke to drop in the same place. This was already stated. Instead, he paid two. Of course they do.
    • Yes, a ball going faster will go farther… but it's nearly impossible for "all other parameters" to remain the same. "A ball going faster with the same of everything else will go farther" is pretty rudimentary stuff. The entire swing. The handle moves the whole time. The golf swing is a matter of both translational and rotational forces. And yet it's also kicked out a little, as it's not directly behind the motion of the hand path at that instant.
    • bought a used epic driver 3 years ago treated me well i am 72 bought with senior shaft a friend of bought a brand new  ping 440 claims he hits straighter and added 10 to 15 yards on his drive i know drivers are the most frequent club bought is a new driver that much better
