Phil every day of the week. You can stick your 14 Majors if it means being that miserable on course.

That's a great way to put it. Being able to win lots of golf tournaments is one thing, enjoying a great family life is quite another.

It would really be interesting to get inside Tiger's head to see how he really feels about the way his life has played out since 2009 or so.

He gets to see his kids a lot more, which he says is wonderful.

Be careful in assuming that Phil's life off the course is that much better or fulfilling than Tiger's. The little bit we know of these guys' personal lives is nothing.

For all you know Tiger could be a very happy man off the course. He is young and time heals all wounds. He could still have a great happy relationships with even his ex-wife, though in a different way.

There's definitely something to be said for that.

Tiger's never been "miserable" on the course. He's ultra competitive which manifests in frustration at times.

Id say Phil because when he won he shared it with his family on the course.Tiger.......well he shared it with his caddy....then later with whatever female he could find.

I distinctly remember a very young Sam hugging her father after the 2008 US Open.

Tiger's family is younger. As is Tiger.

Either, I will take Derek Fathauer's career on what is now the MONEY tour... I doubt we see anything near Jack, or Tiger ever again... 100 guys made over 1M last year... Does seem to be quite a fall off down to the 250K range reaching only 200 guys... Still, lots of money to be made vs 40 years ago...

Once you reach a plateau like Speith, the attention, time, and marketing take over so that many people can get rich and it is money first, legacy and golf is second...
