Irons I play:
* Callaway X20 3-PW w/Uniflex shafts | (2008 mfg, see sig)

Irons kept for historic/sentimental reasons:
* ProTour Black 3-PW, SW, LW w/ TT Dynalite Stiff shafts | (1994 mfg) - (These are component clubs custom-fit for me; heads are clones of Ping Eye-2 - unsold PT sets melted down in late 1990s as part of ProTour lawsuit settlement with Ping)
* MacGregor MT 2-10i w/ MacGregor TourneyLite 1 Stiff shafts | (1974 mfg) + MacGregor MT-DS SW (Stiff shaft)

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

1) MacGregor MT Pro-M (current set I play)
2) Mizuno MP-37 (set I use to play before switching to the Pro-M's)
3) Mizuno MP-100 (bought for display)
4) MacGregor Tourney's (circa...1978, played them in H.S.)

I've owned 5 or 6 other sets through the years that I've mostly given away to friends and family.Only one I wish I would have held onto was a set of Titleist Tour Models I played with in the 1980's. Before the days of Ebay and the internet many pro-shops had tons of used clubs and I would pick up sets of forged blades for around $100-$125 from time to time.

. . .Only one I wish I would have held onto was a set of Titleist Tour Models I played with in the 1980's . . .

I know what you mean about regretting getting rid of Titleist Tour Models. I almost gave away my second hand set (ca 1987) a few times but had no takers. They sat in my basement for about 15 years (alongside a set of Ben Hogan Apex PCs), and even though I enjoy playing vingage clubs, those Titleists never made it to the course. There was always a set that "felt" better at the range (e.g. my Mizunos) but those old Titleists and Hogans contributed to some decent scores this year - real glad nobody else wanted them!

My blades - in order of purchase:
1.) Mizuno MP-11, 2-PW w/ DG S300 (been through countless sets of grips - still solid) ca. 1991
2.) Hogan Apex PC, 2-E w/ Apex 3 (in the golf dictionary, next to the term "bag chatter", there should be a picture of well worn Apex PCs ) ca. 1985
3.) MaGregor M75 2-9 (original shafts and grips - amazingly good condition - 9i goes a solid 130 yards so no PW required) ca. 1954
4.) Titleist Tour Model, 2-PW w/ DG S300 ca. 1987
5.) Spalding Tour Model, Spalding Robert T Jones, and other assorted 1940s era Spalding stainless blades - I'm gonna dump these (maybe into a landfill - they're no MacGregors)
6.) Hogan Apex PC, 2-9, w/ Apex 4 shafts (golden - nice controlled draw every time) ca. 1985
7.) Hogan Apex, 2-E w/ Apex 4 shafts (channelbacks - a smidgen too much offset for my liking, but Mizunoesque feelwise) ca. 1995
8.) MacGregor M85 2-10 (shafts a bit too whippy - they'll make a great backup set for the wife) ca. 1955
9.) MacGregor M85? Colokrom 2-W (these refuse to go offline - like magic) ca. 1956
10.) Cleveland TA1, 2-PW, DG S300 (still in transit, but I love them already) ca. 2000

I'd still like another set of Wilson Staffs - kick myself thinking about dumping those ones - and I can always find room for set of mint condition Muirfields.

First of all let me state that I'm an old fart. And I do have all the below except for one set. My first set was purchased by my Dad on my 13th b'day. A set of Spalding Johnny Palmer clubs. Had those a couple of years and then a couple of years later I talked my Aunt(god bless her) into buying me a set of Ben Hogan Apex shaft clubs. A very good set. About the same time my brother bought a set of Wilson Staff clubs but he liked mine better and I like his so we swapped. All this took place in the late 60's. Kept the w/s until the early 80's and then bought a set of Ping Eye 2's. Next was a set of Ping Zing 2's in the early 90's. Really liked those but they were stolen out of my garage around 2000 so I bought a set of Callaway Hawk Eye vft irons and never really liked them. Mainly because of the graphite shafts. In 2007 I went full circle and bought a set of Wilson Staff irons, the di7's. And I am very satisfied at this point.

Probably more info than the OP wanted.
