Hey train engineer, toot the horn as my buddy is about to hit his drive! Where's the Nike Sumo when you need one? :-P

That course is right up the street from me. It has been closed all summer to redo the greens. Perhaps they reopened it.

Confusing post! I had to jump over to twitter to comment.

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

Amtrak runs by the 4th hole at our city's executive course. I always wave.  I imagine I add a bit of local color when the train runs by in January and I am out there playing.

Hi all, new to the forum! Love the focus your buddy demonstrates here. My experience with other golfers has been that they are far more likely to blame the noise that happened 2 miles away for a bad swing than to be able to swing in an environment that loud!

Or Chambers Bay.

I've played next to trains going by, it's not that bad, the grass and the landscaping absorbs the sound. You want loud, try an underground train, with the very sound retaining and reflecting environment. It's mainly the horn that's the worst and the screeching from turns.
