How many three-putts (or more) did you have today?

Tuesday I had two.  13 putts on the front, 17 putts on the back.   Both 3 putts were on the back.

I don't know when my last three-putt was.

I've had some long putts, but my distance control (always a strength) has been on point lately.

I shot 8 over 78 with 5 three jacks....oh what could have been!! Trying to get the game back on track is hard work!

Normally I average about 1 3-putt every 2 rounds, but yesterday I had 2 including one on hole 18, and still managed to score a (good for me) 76, +4.  Go figure!

I had  two 3 putts today, on holes 17 & 18. These to go along with 4 one putts, and 12 two putts. 

One of the three putts was a heart breaker. First putt lipped out, and rolled down a slope, leaving me an 8 footer. Missed that one, but made the tap in. 

The other "3"  on the 18th, was just poor putting on my part. First putt was a 10-12 footer, which went 3 foot past the hole. On the second putt, I stub the putter into the ground before ball contact, and left myself a short tap in.  

Iwas probably thinking about that pitcher of beer that was waiting for us at the 19th.

I had three today. Putting was nowhere near the problem though.

I've had 11 in the last 5 rounds!   I'm blaming my approach shots.   I'm usually putting from more the 30'!   Work to be done.
