As it is… I've had to START the topic, on Saturday evening, when Rickie Fowler opens up a three-shot lead.

Will he get, what, his third or fourth PGA Tour win? (Quail Hollow, the Players… and…?)

I hope he does get the W tomorrow.  IMHO, he is one of the under achievers on the tour.  He has a tremendous talent but not much W to show for.

I was going to make a comment earlier on how many international players were in contention this weekend, but there was nowhere to post it, and it didn't seem like an appropriate thread-starter. Having said that: there are a lot of international players in contention this weekend. Hatton's playing like he has a big chip on his shoulder for missing the chance to play on this side of the pond last fall.

Also: Rickie's win list is missing the 2015 Deutsche Bank.

I hope he gets the W, I enjoy watching him play. I also like the type of person he is. I hope he can get a few more W's.   

I actually follow Fowler on snapchat he is always out doing something fun and having a good time. I feel he lives life to the fullest. I would love to be able to hangout with him off the course and drink beers.

Deutsche Bank in Boston, also in 2015.  (I had to look it up)

I like seeing him playing well and winning - I hope he closes it out.

Fowler is hitting it and putting pretty good he'll be tough to catch.

It's good for the tour when he wins. He has a lot of charisma.  It would be cool if he could win a few majors before his career ends.

He started off playing the first hole exactly how he should: fairway, 20-footer for birdie to the fat side of the green, tap-in par.

He followed that up with a great fairway bunker shot on 2 then made a birdie on 3.   I hope he keeps it up.  At this point no one is making a big move to put pressure on him which helps.

You jinxed it...  Kaymer, Woodland, Walker all within 3 shots with Fowler finding the coconuts (as the announcer said) off the tee.  He hit that one shot in the water off the tee that was a miss left, and since then he's missed his shots out to the right.

I'm about 20 minutes behind. He just missed the 7th wide right, the par three, so I expect I'll see a few more here shortly.

But he still leads, so nobody's really pressuring him. Everyone else is playing poorly too.

Walker is hitting the ball well, just needs to sink a few putts.  Fowler needs to find a fairway for better chances at just holding a GIR, he's been in the trees off the tee too much.

The pressure must be getting to RF.

I think he should have been more aggressive from the beginning like when he won the Players.  Like Jordan Spieth - he does not let up on Sundays.

He HAD to be aggressive at the Players. He had a three- or four-shot lead today.

Well, two steady holes for RF now. Maybe he holes this one and that will change the complexion all together for him I think. He can coast a bit while everyone else will have to bear down. I think advantage RF now.

Woodland just stuck one.  He should be able to close it to 1 back.
