Regardless of his score, and I'm impressed, his presence in the tournament created a lot of positive awareness for the web.com tour.   It was good for golf.

I see, lots of good players, but aren't those guys in the top 10 retired? Curry's still active, he just signed a 5 year contract, no? I make the distinction because doing both at the same time is harder.

Still plenty of good guys right up there with him.  Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo.

Likely a bunch that we don't even know.  I don't necessarily agree that "doing both is harder".  Like Curry, the vast majority of scratch golfers have a day job.  Most work it more than 6 months out if the year too....

This is off topic but I wonder if today's athletes are better at golf than their predecessors. Mardy Fish vs Lendl. Curry vs Jordan. Guessing better instruction.

Also watching a player with minimal logos on clothing and equipment, kind of nice not being subtle-bombarded with corporation marketing.

Hey, Curry shot 74-74 in the first two rounds on a pro track off the pro tees. Good for him! God knows what I would have shot, even back in the day when I could play a little bit!

Romo is better than Rogers. At golf that is!

Not only is he worse than Rodgers in golf as in football, but he's also, gasp, slow!!
