Just curious… what do you guys do with your music?

I haven't subscribed to Apple Music. I have no plans to, either.

If I like music, I like to buy it. I also don't have time to listen to much music, either, so if I did I could see subscribing, but right now I still have an iTunes Match subscription only, and find that's a perfectly good way to get the music I have stored on my home computer (because it's also stored with Apple as music I own) on any other device.

I use Apple Music, and I really like it. The biggest reason: I've never liked "collecting" music. I always felt like it was a chore to curate a collection of MP3's. Subscription services are perfect for me.

I listen to a lot of satellite radio (it's really all I listen to when driving) and I like that I can jump on Apple Music and check out songs/albums by a new band when I hear one I like.

I have given Amazon Music a try, but I don't use it as much as I thought I would.

I tend to buy the music I want. I've been listening to podcasts more than music lately.

Music ripped from old media, cds and vinyl, in Google Music, 50K song limit so probably not gonna hit that. Google Music app a little dodgy sometimes when streaming from cellular connection.

Spotify for streaming and discovery. Sometimes stream from Amazon Prime Music, but why bother when already have Spotify. Tried Amazon's full streaming plan, cheaper but selection not as good as Spotify, stuff kept disappearing. Spotify gets new music faster as well.

Also have a small collection of purchased music from iTunes, a smaller collection purchased from Amazon and an even smaller collection purchased from Google Music.

Ripped files and some purchased digital music backed up to external hard drives. No internet, no computers, worse case, find physical media and play it on a device solely dedicated to playing music.

I have it all in an iTunes library. Most of it was bought from iTunes or Amazon, plus free mixtapes and some ripped CDs.

I also have Apple Music but I don't use it as much as I'd like to because I don't get great cell service at work (not strong enough to stream a song). I have a few playlists of combined iTunes songs and Apple Music songs (I'm actually in the middle of making some right now).

In general though, if I want to have a song, I buy it rather than continuing to stream it. Apple Music is more for the "I really want to listen to this right now but don't necessarily want to buy it" type of song.

I have been using Amazon Music and I enjoy the interface and variety of music. I no long purchase music except when my favorite few artists release an album. I even use it over cell data and it uses surprising little data.

This is also where most of my music is from, but I’m old, so I don’t listen to, let alone buy, much music anymore.

On my iPhone I have Apple Music.  I love it.  I don’t have it turned on in my iPad, tho.   That’s where I keep all my b-sides to songs as well as alternate or live versions of tunes I don’t want Apple to erase to make way for studio versions.
