Day 18, Range today because they have heated bays! I wanted to see if what I am working on in helping ball flight. I was pretty pleased. I did mostly slower swings to start but did do a few 80% swings. As long as I followed my feel, flight was a nice slight push with a little bit of curve. This was with wedge, 8 and 6 irons and driver. If I felt like I was swinging out from the top, I would pull or hook it, which didn’t happen much. The feel is  swinging down from the top and letting my right hand feel like its getting on top.

I couldn’t film because of space and it was dark and rainy.

Day 47 (02 Jan 23)  - Worked on engaging bounce with the SW today in the backyard.  Varied setup on ball - forward, middle, back - and lies - hard pan, tight and semi rough…

Since I technically missed posting yesterday’s work (see above) by failing to hit the submit reply button (2nd miss in the past 26 days), I’m starting over….

Day 01 (03 Jan 23) - Weather cooperates (70+ in Eastern NC in Jan) so the grandson and I played a quick front nine at RiverBend. Uses the round to work on swing tempo and shot strategy related to course management.  Also limited the clubs so I had to work based on typical distances I hit those clubs.  Love that type of challenge.  The grandson had a blast and said I was his favorite babysitter as I will take him to ply golf….think he has the golf bug 😁

Day 34: 1/3/2022

Chipping today. Set up 3 targets in the basement. Chipped balls with my 60 and my 54.

Plan to do full swing and putting tomorrow. I should have a bit more time.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 2 (04 Jan 22) -  Worked on balance with the driver.  Started with easy swings feet together, then progressively widened the stance until I was at my normal width.  Also did some swings with most of my weight on my lead foot, trail foot behind on toe tip.  Has been a drill to reinforce confidence in the lead foot supporting my weight and rotation through the swing.

Day 3 (05 Jan 23) - More nice Jan weather, so got outside to work on the setup and initial takeaway.  Been working to keep the arms extended and not collapsing.  Hit a few hard foam balls with the 5i to finish out the drill.

Day 36: 1/5/2023

Got to the range today and worked on my priority pieces first. I also hit some balls at targets just to see where my swing kind of is in terms of effectiveness.
I finished with hitting pitch shots to a number of targets 30 to 90 yards away using the 60 and 54 degree wedges.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.
