Day 45:

Was onsite for work today and things got busy unexpectedly, so I was at work much later than expected, and still had more work to do when I got home, which kind of derailed my practice plans for today.

So just did the same rehearsal work as yesterday, really trying to make the conscious thought of backswing and falling back into lead side unconscious.

Day 55: Did some mirror work today. Checking set up - feel pretty happy with where my hips are and how bent my knees are. Also worked a bit on my right knee in the backswing - trying not to get it turned out so much.

Day 502: went back to the feel of flattening the shaft and swinging down from the top with higher hands at A4. The video shows this to be working better for me. I’ll post something in My Swing thread. I also noticed the if my backswing gets too flat with the driver, I swing more out from the top.

Day 83 (02 Mar 22) - played 18 today from the tips (approx 6450 yds). Goal was to see just how different the course played.  Overall, not really that much different.  Course management was the call for the day….based on how it went, I would give myself a C+ as the round was a continued struggle.  Not because of distance, but rather so-so putting, weak approaches.

Played on the sim with some juniors. Used Freaking Tall Ryan's clubs, but… it was good. Hit it pretty solid for not having warmed up, etc.

Day 66: 3/2/2022

Didn't get to do all I wanted to do today. Only did mirror work on my priority pieces.

I also went back through a lot of old video of my swing. I can see a lot of changes. .... It's still Chet's swing, but it's a slightly better version of Chet's swing.

Day 66: 3/3/2022

Didn't get to do all I wanted to do today. I did work on putting for about 20 minutes while I was waiting in my office for a Zoom Call to start. I added the putting mirror to Day 15 of the 30 Day Covid-19 training plan. I ended up repeating the drills a lot because the meeting started late.

Then I got to do my ladder drill with GW, the 54 and the 60, at 6', 12' and 18 foot chips. I did this while I was waiting for my lunch to cook in the Ninja Foodi.

I hope to do full swing work tomorrow

Day 84 (03 Mar 22) - Mirror work focused on slower than regular swing speed thru the impact and follow thru.  Love doing this w/out shoes as I get to feel  my weight on my lead 2/3 length foot.  Getting better torso rotation allowing the arms to remain extended (no chicken winging).

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
