"5 Minutes Daily" Practice Challenge

Day 97: 04/04/2022

Today was a great day of practice. Spent time in the garage working on my priority piece. "Felt" like I was getting it. The one thing I didn't accomplish today was to get it on film. I must do that tomorrow. I also spent some time on the putting green and hitting wedges to targets between 30 and 80 yards out.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 30.  Got home after a long day, went with the drill that relaxes me the most lately:  slow quarter swings, 54 and 58, for ten minutes.

Day 117 (05 Apr 22) - Worked on the grip some more today, first with easy pitches with the 54 and real golf balls (no more than 30 yards) and finishing with the 7i and more full swings using the hard foam balls.  The change, while still "odd" in feel, is providing much better ball flight.  Next step - another round of videos for the My Swing thread.

Day 161 - Played 18 today. I played well on the front and made a mess of the back. Hit some good shots and got my first birdie of the year, so not all bad.

Day 98: 4/5/2022

Went to the range today. Worked my priority pieces for a small bucket. Then I went to the short game area and work on my pitching, 30 to 70 yards.

Overall a good day.

Day 31.  That drill I said yesterday I should do today?  I did today.  The coins drill for 25+ foot putts from LSW for ten minutes before dinner, indoors, off carpet.  That doesn't feel like my stroke, which may explain some things.

Day 118 (06 Apr 22) -  trail arm only swing drill with the 54 and foam balls.  Worked on feeling the bounce, neatly clipping the ball over the tulip tree in the back yard.  Finished the session with 1/2 swings with the 8i and more foam balls.  Working on trunk rotation thru and not being too handsy.
