Day 4: 11/30/2023:
Outdoor range again today. @klineka Yep, the Westerville one. There's also one with heaters in Dublin.

So, today I did much the same as I did yesterday, only I did it a bit better yesterday.

Started out working on my priority pieces with the 6 iron. Then moved to the 9 iron, then the driver and finished with the 3 wood.

After that "I played" the course that my tournament is held on every year. I did not do as well as yesterday. But I still feel as though my swing is in a descent place.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 1 (01 Dec 23) - new month, another restart (did practice yesterday, just failed to post) - so we start again.  Today worked on putting pace, distance control - using a version of the step drill: first putt to a set distance (approx 12’), second to within a foot of the first, but not past; if successful, next putt to finish about 2’ shorter and then to follow-up with a putt within a foot, but not past, etc.  Worked the drill to where I got to 3’ and blew it past.

Backswing work with mirrorvision. Not sure why I stopped using mirrorvision, it’s really helpful. Hit a few balls after indoor work, and did an easy fit for golf workout.

    • I agree. I would have thought it would save them shipping costs. I will say, I don't really mind. I'm guessing the labor cost to remove the head and repack it is greater than the difference in shipping costs. I'm guessing Callaway has a deal with UPS because the shipping label they sent me only showed a cost of like 8 bucks and change. Feels like it would have costed me more to ship it.  When the guy I spoke to told me they were sending me a complete driver and I could choose to keep my old shaft or keep the new one, I was actually kind of excited. It was like a little driver shaft lottery. ... I didn't win though. The shaft I got was almost the same as the one I had just the R version instead of the S version. Mine's a 60 gram Hzrdus Black.  The other thing I kind of liked about it is that they shipped it the same day I talked to the guy. So it was fast.  Lastly, I'm pretty sure the guy I talked to was in California, and the driver definitely shipped to me out of Texas. That's also where I sent it back to.  So, overall, really I have no complaints.
