HOLY HELL!

Obviously they meant TEES that range from 5,000 to 7,000 yards… but ha! That was a funny bullet point to read.

Geez the distance from today's balls is getting seriously out of hand. The maintenance expenses for this course must be astronomical 😉

Eh. Most of the expense is in the greens, tees, and bunkers. And as you can see, their bunkers are carefully placed.

Yea but mowing a 90k yard course has got to be expensive.

😜

I hope they offer some "stay and play" packages. Would probably take at least a week to play the whole thing!

This is what happens when you farm out work to people who are ignorant of the subject.

Sounds like a damn good job for local prisons to start. Bus the inmates around..having 20-30 guys at a time to do maintenance. Maybe even a future job for those who get out in a reasonable time. Better job than cleaning highways I would think. Much cheaper labor.

You'd have to pitch a tent after a couple holes, sleep for the night and play a couple more the next day. Maybe you could get three short "holes" played in one day. They'd have cabins and camp sites for rent behind every green. Even with a cart it would take 3 days to play, because you figure the 5000 yard holes are almost 3 miles (280 yards short of it), and the 7000 yard holes are almost 4 miles (40 yards short of it). So it would be like a 60 mile course?

I realize that this is an obvious typo on the information sheet. But it would be great if their intent was to make it a golf course, campground, and fishing getaway. You'd need to be about your own township to pull this off.

I'm curious how far they play as a par 3. Probably not the best course for walking.

    • Day 19: worked with foam balls for a while. Going slow to make sure I’m rolling and twisting. It feels weird, which is good. Going to take more work, but I’m on the way I think.
    • Day 39 (16 Apr 26) - Back to easy swings as the lead foot was overly tender from yesterday - stuck to some easy pitches with wedges and a few 1/2 tempo swings with 6i.  Was good to slow down and work on setup and overall alignment…
    • I saved the ball and wrote the details -- "my first eagle," course, hole number, and date on it.  Maybe I should write the yardage and the club too.
    • Day 8, April 16.  Continued pelvis turn drills after work today;  I've already spent 20 minutes doing this, am taking a short break (and have fulfilled the challenge for the day) and then I'm back to it.
    • Played 9 holes tonight. Driver is hit or miss, but I haven’t practiced that at all. It was a struggle to get sequencing down for the arms and lower body. I definitely have to do my downswing wrist piece a lot or I just push the crap out of the ball. Pitching needs some work. Chipping was good, chipped in twice. Putting was fine.  Shank Counter: 2
