Run away victories always blow my mind...one guy was THAT much better than the field this week. Someone could have played consistently great golf and shot 4 straight 65s and lost the tournament by a stroke. Wow. Hats off to Molinari.

If his putting and short game were zero strokes gained (average for the field), he still would have won by 2 strokes.

I want to see the video.  Seems they disagreed with where a ball crossed the hazard.

Nothing worse than a guy calling "cheater" if it was just a disagreement.  I'd need to see Kang's side of it and also if it was intentional.\

 

and...criminy, Molinari had a great day and a great round.  crazy good too watch.

Why do charts like this list GIRs as a percent?  It's always out of 18, just list the number so I don't have to figure out what each one is.

Huh, PGA Tour's leaderboard says Tiger had 2.948 strokes gained putting last round, his average for the week was 1.194.  And that's with his missed 3'1 putt, costing him nearly a full stroke right there.

It's .96 strokes, close enough to 1 ;)
