Rose played great all match but we really needed him to stand up and hit the 18th green for a half point. Our big guns must  stand up this afternoon to have any chance.

I criticised American fans for cheering balls in the water 2 years ago, and I must say I’m disappointed to hear it from our fans too. I guess that’s just the way it’ll be in RCs from now on 🙄

I'm fine with it.

I mean, what are they supposed to do - sit quietly? A ball in the water improves the chances for your team. So you can cheer for them.

Just doesn’t seem natural to me, but hey I’ll get over it. I guess it’s just the way it is now.

Wind is meant to pick up this afternoon, apparently that favours us...we’ll see.

I’m ok with it too. What I don’t like is booing introductions. Cheering a mishap is different than booing a person as I see it.

Tiger looks a like he needs the afternoon off. Not sure if anyone knows but I would think it would have been better to have a week in between the Tour Championship and the Ryder Cup?

Tiger needs a partner who does more than chip in once on a hole to help in the match.

Tiger's Ryder Cup record is poor, but four balls doesn't suit him (he plays best in events where making pars is good), and in foursomes he's often saddled with someone he likes but who isn't necessarily playing well.

He's 4-1-2 in singles, and one of those concessions he could have won but Europe had already retained the Cup, so the air went out of that match.

Not saying Reed was completely dead weight today. He wasn't. Not like McIlroy, for sure. But he didn't do much to help. Jordan and JT ham and egged it. Rickie and Dustin did too. Koepka and Finau even had separate good holes.

      I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙

      Hi All my New Year’s resolution was to start playing golf again. I’ve caught the bug and am really enjoying hitting balls at a couple of my local ranges.looking forward to getting back out on courses in the spring. Based in the UK and 38 years old, I’ve been playing since I was a kid. Best handicap I’ve held is 2 in my mid 20s. Over the past 10 years I’ve played once or twice a year, sometimes with friends or for work. Could shoot 4-5 over, but just as easily shoot 15-20 over. I’ve moved to South Wales and am very lucky to be near some world class links courses, which gives me even more motivation to get playing again! I will start looking for a local coach in my area when I have more time to invest, but I recalled scouring this forum a few years ago and finding some good tips and advice so wanted to give it a try to see if there were any glaring issues I could fix in the meantime!  A few swings below… one from 1st week Jan and one from today. I have fixed my P1 takeaway to my liking and am now working on what I see as pretty severe early extension & hip thrust. Also terrible hip rotation. I’d like confirmation that this is indeed a problem and and suggestions on a few good drills. Thanks for reading 🙂 I've been Playing Golf for: 30+ years My current handicap index or average score is: 10ish over My typical ball flight is: mid The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push right with irons, hooks and push with driver!  Videos:
