I Know Duck Hook, But Duck Slice?

I forget the origin of duck hook, but I've never heard duck slice. If GOAT is using it, it must be a phrase?

I assumed ‘duck’ just referred to the low trajectory as in a duck’s flight. So yeah, Tiger’s shot wasn’t a low ‘traj’ shot at all.

It's not a phrase until people start using it. So no, it's not a phrase 😃

I always think of a duck hook as the ball that takes a nose dive out of sky and hooks, like it "ducks" out of the sky or something. Low traj is definitely a key component.

If the GOAT says it, it's a phrase.  From inception. 

"Duck" slices are incredibly difficult to hit, especially w/a short iron. I avoid practicing such things, but I think I need to try it next time at the range to see how much I can get one to move sideways ala Tiger or even more incredible to watch - Bubba.
