Has anyone had the counters weights on the bottom drop out of their Edel putter? I made the assumption they were tight from the factory, and apparently that was a bad assumption. (sorry could not find a better place to ask)

I moved to Phx ... so what is this cold weather you speak of??? However, when I do play in the "cold" its the hands I have to keep warm ... my hands get cold, I done. Hand warms are a must for me. That and thermal underwear ...

I had twins and they NEVER slept through the night ... not sure they even do now ... Enjoy the ride, because the 20's are around the corner, and you haven't seen anything yet. The problems are larger. more complex ... and to think I could not wait for them to be in their 20's and "gone." We are now co-parent the grandkids ... we have them just about everyday after school. Must admit, I feel I actually learned a few things that I apply to the grandkids (10 and 8). Sort wish I could have skipped right to the grandparent phase.

Sad to say, but appears Mr @Mike Boatright has successfully derailed another thread/blog ... so hopefully his work here is done. @jbishop15 I feel your pain, and I took just a month off from going to the gym ... I attend a 1 hour fitness and had to stop a couple of times to recover, and a month ago I was plowing through the hour.

He would be good for the team and the event. I would add him in a heart beat. I do not think he will qualify to play, but an assistant would be a great role, as I see him as caption at some point.

I have a MacBook Air 11 inch, and the MacBook Pro 15 ... I love the 11 inch for work (going to meetings etc) and travel ... but at home, the 15 inch just pops. I do a little work with Unreal engine and some photos ... just can't beat the 15 Retina display ... but that is just my view of the world ...

You have one of those moments, where you swear you read some information and you search and search to find it again? When you were reading it, you made a mental note to come back and read in detail? I swear I read on a diet thread, were someone post/quoted an article that your body does not know where you got your food from ... it just sees sugar, card, etc Does it ring a bell for anyone else?? Sorry I just can't remember where/when ... heck maybe I dreamed it. Getting old is not bad ... its just coming at really bad time for me.

The above finally resonates with me ... I can appreciate your view. While it is opposite of my view, I get it ... For me and my usual cast of characters, the score is just a by product of enjoying the day, and our company. We rarely discuss the end score, but congratulate each other on good shots, and rib the hell out of each other on the bad. Its a good opportunity to catch up with friends on what is happening in their lives. Since we are getting older, we discuss aches and pains etc ... its a day filled with good fellowship while chasing a ball around the course. As result we do not need to research every rule when something is in question. In fact, to be honest, the banter on who is right until we get to the 19th hole and look it up, can be entertaining within its self. Not sure why it took so long for me to get it ... but its clearer now. Again, I total respect what brings you joy in the game, and I love a "game" that can provide joy in different ways/goals.

At a future point I think they should/will captain a team. But I think we are a few years out from them leading a team. If nothing else, it would be great marketing.

Never bet on, or off the course ... I find golf far from mundane just because I do not wager while playing.

I do not think that 14 clubs is a limiting factor to most people like myself that play golf on weekends for fun ... it is lack of talent to hit the 14 I have ... I have read enough of these rules threads to know the sides have been drawn, and the conversation/debate will take a nasty turn soon.

No, 99.9% I play with my friends and we really don't care what one does, or what score they want to record. The "score" is secondary to the banter and fun we have. With that said, I do feel we play fairly close to what the rules state.

Like many have said, I do not ... if the instructor needs extra cash they should raise their rates.

I am that guy that thinks, whats the real angle. Lot of work to announce you want to go pro ... Good luck to you.

At this point it is 90 ... some days on some courses that is a stretch goal!

I have a 3W that I can hit 190-200'ish I have a 5-7W'ish that I can hit 180-190+"ish (I put 'ish on the wood because it is adjustable, just don't remember the degree at the moment)

Well thanks to modern technology and Garmin I always know ... however; without it I am clueless ... just can't keep that many strokes in my little pea head straight.
