I guess it is okay since I was 10 years old also.....but looking back at it.....I might of changed that purchase....I think the Beasties Boys had an album out then I should have gotten instead....

Hey thriller is kind of a classic. Somewhere down the line I ended up purchasing MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, and even Public Enemy... so, we've all made those purchases that we look back on asking "what was I thinking".

I was born in 1969, so when I was about six, my cousin who was older moved in with us, and I had an uncle who was 10 years older than me who I thought was a god. They got me listening to their music, so I remember getting Boston, Meatloaf and Kiss albums at a fairly young age I've enjoyed music ever since.

I also went with the trends of my peers and have to admit that I remember buying a Bay City Rollers album in elementary school too

My first purchase was around 1979, I was 8 and my sister took me to the local mall. I bought a 45 of Kung Fu Fighting from Carl Douglas.

I ended up buying 8 track tapes of The Beach Boys, Elvis, and a 1980--G.Hits compilation.


I always had a little transistor radio on, playing b-ball, hanging from my handlebars on my dirtbike. Always loved music.

Don't worry, I've expanded my collection!!
