I'm gonna go a couple strokes higher while guessing that your putting isn't stellar. I'll say 9 hndcp. The full swing looks pretty good though....then again, I have no clue what I'm talking about.

One swing with a mid-iron tells absolutely nothing about your golf game. Sorry....

Just form one swing, the tempo looks good, the contact sounds solid, swing looks all together, from that i can guess that you hit a decent amount of greens.

I would put you at anywere from a 2-10 handicap.

As said above, your swing with the iron looks nice, but there's tons of variables in your overall performance other than the look of one iron swing.  If you've put in hours regaining touch around and on the greens, I'd believe anything from 4-14.  Since you've just gotten back into golf, maybe right now you play off a 10?

I'm not really sure the point of this thread. Is there a prize if we guess correctly?

You have a nice swing. What are you working on trying to improve at the moment? That or something similar strikes me as a much more useful conversation.

I posted one of these once, and my intent was educational.

I'm not sure what the point of this thread is.

There could very well be an educational point to this thread.

For example, ST4SLC has a very nice looking swing in my opinion. He has really nice tempo. He can work work the ball both ways (assuming that is what the ball did in those videos and I have no reason to doubt him) and he makes good enough contact to back up a wedge. If he is a 20+ handicap, that very much demonstrates the importance of a golfer's short game.

On the other hand, there could be a golfer with a terrible looking swing that is a plus handicap. That golfer can teach us all to not get bogged down in hitting every "correct" position in the golf swing. After all, the point of the game is to get the ball in the hole in the fewest strokes, however one does it.
