Those incessant discussions regarding players with no chance.

Simpson. And some Swede went five under.

The leaders could go LOW.

LOUIS and Koepka strike first and are one under on the day.

Woodland did not sleep AND played video games all night. He has blood shot eyes.

From just what I am have been hearing on sports shows and reading on internet there still seems to be a little bit of a shock/surprise factor if Woodland wins.

Recovery

That was the best recovery for par.

Go Koepka

Woodland nails the approach

Rose will bogey. It is not in the bunker

Birdie bogey

Rose over the green

Rory says, I am good at this, really, but the ball does not drop

Rose par putt goes by the hole 6+ feet

Koepka birdie, par birdie goes to minus 9.

IT IS WOODLAND birdie on 2. Twelve under

Better luck next year, Rory.

Got a feeling Rory's next major is a few weeks away.

As long as he doesn’t put too much pressure on himself. Players that play on their home course or soil tend to do that.

Christ. I’m not staying up to watch Koepka and Woodland

Pour yourself a scotch and stick with it.

I was still living back home when my (American) wife made me sit up to watch something called the "Superbowl" between the Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I figured that as the game is divided into quarters it would only take an hour with a break at halftime. Lasted all bloody night and I was teaching at 8am...

    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.
