LIV is too big to fail. Millions of fans worldwide and big name recognition with rahm bryson and AK. Pgat doesn't really want the boys back because their golden boy scottie will win much less.

True, but I think the way the golf establishment have come together to do the intransigent PGAT's bidding for them and close LIV out of rankings, TV and such will ultimately win through, and the PGA will once hold all cards again.

Well that's about the dumbest thing I've read today.

Based on everything I've read, LIV has continued to be propped up by cash from the PIF.  That's certainly where the start-up cash came from, and I'm not sure that the LIV tour has generated enough income to pay the players the kinds of prize money they've become used to without outside support.  Perhaps I underestimate the popularity if LIV outside of the USA.  I just think that Normal and the others overestimated the enthusiasm their "changes" would generate.  Shotgun starts, loud music everywhere, 3 rounds, and fields made up of a few legitimate top players along with some aging (but big-name) veterans and lots of younger relative unknowns, none of it resonated with me, personally.

If history teaches us anything, this statement is blatantly false.  Nothing is too big to fail.

PGA didn’t make Scottie their golden boy. He made his self number one by beating everybody that showed up, including Rahm, Bryson and all the other ones that were with the PGA and left. PGA offered them a way back, Koepka took it and Reeds on his way back.

I think the low TV ratings in the US is the only concerning revenue failure of LIV. but even the pga has struggled with ratings. They changed the pga championship schedule only because they couldn't get ratings in September. Liv has surpassed expectation with attendance figures and online engagement.  Also it is no coincidence that exhibition style golf such as TGL has taken off and garunteed money for players who dont make the cut at pga events.  There was a pga event last year (forget which one) that gave players walk up music on a par 3 lol!

Dude, the two are not comparable. Furthermore, that's "the only concerning revenue failure"? Ha ha ha. They've lost billions of dollars.

No, that's not why.

    • That makes more sense thanks.  I'll give it a go.  That other video really helps.  Will post another video once I practice it a bit and appreciate the help as always.
    • Day 25: range and putting session. Worked about an hour at the range. Filmed a bit - think some progress but need more. Then went and worked on putts within 10 feet for about 20 minutes.

    • Day 45 (22 Apr 26) - good friend wanted to play the Weds shootout. Glad we did as I had the most consistent round in a while - 38/41 for a 79 (first sub 80 in months): 27 putts, 9 pars (7 were up and down 1 putts), 8 bogies, 1 birdie and 0 dbls or worse!  This is the 1st full round where I’ve not had at least one dbl (or worse) and 0 penalties.  I also came 1 hole from having “no sixes” (bogied the par five 16th).  All the drills came together today for a solid round.
    • Day 568 - 2026-04-22 Created a 33-minute playlist and paused it while I stopped. I mostly did some backswing and a little downswing work with the mirror. This got me most of the way through the playlist, so then I chopped for a good 15 or 20 minutes.
