Are you sure that the cell number isn’t your user name?  There should still be an actual GHIN number.  If not, it’s completely different from what I’ve seen anywhere else, which seems unlikely since GHIN is a USGA product used nationally.

Sent my GHIN info to Iacas as I didn't want to post up my cell number in the thread really. Our club is setup as "EClub West TN" since it's not through a course. But yeah, my actual GHIN number is my cell number. My son's is the same way. Been like this for years because when I first started this, my home course did not offer the service.

Interesting, we learn something new all the time.  @TN94z, I know that my GHIN number is 7 digits, is yours the full 10-digit phone number?

Mine is 8, Dave.

Members of my eClub have different length numbers too.

Our numbers are 7 digits. I'd be curious to see if it went to 10 digits if there were to be conflict of some sort..

OK - i discovered that i had gone thru golfnet.com thus i did not a have a GHIN number.  I joined a club in June and they set me up in USGA so i have a real GHIN number.  I entered the few rounds i played in 2019 due to injury and got all of my rounds for 2020 entered.  So now i have an updated GHIN.

I am playing terrible golf right now, like i haven't played this bad since i was in 7th grade, many many years ago.  That is due to having injuries the last 2 seasons that really limited my play and then this year i started off with a right shoulder injury.

But i am having a blast playing golf, really am enjoying the game tremendously.  All have my kids have started playing ages 20 thru 27, that's 5 kids and all of their significant others are also taking up the game.  My wife has started playing again as well.  Add in a lot of my nieces and nephews that have started.  It really is so enjoyable to be arround.

thank you EVERYONE for the advice on how to work thru this.  Appreciate this site

You and your wife were pretty busy there for awhile.  OT, but I couldn't help but notice.

    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
