We have a small store in town. I know the owner so hopefully she will not steer me wrong. I'm not sure about THC content. I don't have to worry about passing a drug test, but not sure if i want to go with it or w/o. So more reading...

You can get broad spectrum without the THC and still get the benefits.

Hey gang.

I've personally never tried CBD. I'm wondering if anyone out there uses or has used it? What did you think? Did it help?

Here's a link to an article which I found interesting.

https://southamptongolfclub.com/cbd-for-golfers/#:~:text=CBD oil can be taken,inflammation%2C and promotes sleep quality.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

I’m still on three drops per day. I’m not sure it does much. I sleep well now but that’s a matter of not snoring anymore.

After a month of using it I saw no help on my glucose levels. Also no help on arthritic pain in my hands. It helped me sleep I think, about the same as a Jack N Coke. Sitting around the fire pit is more fun that so I think I'm done with this experiment.

Maybe those that haven’t seen any benefits aren’t using a strong enough version or you bought a cheap knock off. Nobody says what brand, concentration level, or form. If you are using a balm or cream to lower your stress you most likely won’t see any benefits. Just like if you used drops for a sore neck you won’t get anything. Just like with any product there are good products and inferior. If you grab a CBD oil from 7-11 you wasted your money. Good stuff ain’t cheap. You should be ready to drop between $50 and $80 or more for the good stuff.

HealXSoothe Balm - 250mg Hemp Derived CBD Uses: Topical...

I presume you were somewhat referring to my post above yours in that I didn't do research or used ineffective products. These are the products I used for arthritis in my right ankle. Like I said, I really didn't notice any difference at all in pain relief.

I wasn’t singling you out. Pretty much everybody that says they tried it or are trying it hasn’t posted any info on what they are using or the result they are looking for. For you I would recommend ditching the hemp oil and getting either a broad or full spectrum cbd product. If you are worried about THC in any way get broad. If you have no issues with THC then get the full. I’m pretty sure you would see some benefit.  Green Roads is a good brand that I am familiar with. I have no vested interest in them or get anything if you buy something.

Well the CR is a full spectrum hemp extract, but lacks THC . Also, 900 mg bottle is a significant dosage, I know they make higher dosages like 3000 mg, but 900 mg full spectrum is significant. I appreciate your help.

Yea it is full spectrum hemp. CBD full spectrum is different. That 900mg isn’t the same as a 900mg CBD because CBD is more potent than hemp naturally due to it using more than just the seeds. So it’s not really apples to apples.

You can get tested 99% pure CBD oil here:

Medterra takes pride in providing our customers with the highest quality pure CBD, grown and processed in the USA.

We tried it for a couple of months (somewhat expensive) but did not notice any real benefits. No relationship to the company.

Anyone tried Phi Mickelsons Vytalyze CBD? Getting big reviews and high marks. Big pharma is angry with Phil.

All that CBD has done for me is lighten my wallet.

I've tried CBD (not Phil's) for inflammation.  I probably need to be more consistent for a longer period of time but it's hard to be motivated when I'm not noticing any benefit.  For me it seems to be about the same as taking vitamins, like vitamins I'm not sure it's doing me any good.

    • Worked on my swing again this morning. @iacas had me tweak my setup a bit first. Get a little further from the ball, a little more bent over and a little more knee bend. Here was last week: And today Result is giving myself a bit more room and having my arms hang more vertical. I used the same arm feels in the drill, extending right arm and having the club go behind me, but we added a shift on the my left leg while lowering the club, then kicking my left butt cheek back during the turn. It looks pretty good in the drill. On a 50% swing, the butt is not quite getting there. There’s a Latin term for this I think, something like Incomprehendia Buttox. Need to keep working on this. The arms look better. Face on with the drill I’m trying to get more weight on the left side before doing the turn. This one could have had a more exaggerated weight shift. I also topped the little fella badly. 50% impact looks a bit better but not quite there. I rehearsed the weight shift better.   Did a few short pitches at the end of the session.
    • The physical aspect of being bigger is one thing.  The most important though is the training today.  Kids start training for their sport at a young age and it has become very scientific.  Assuming the athletes of older generations also trained in the same way, the impact it would have is unknown.  There are professional athletes who have found that losing too much weight and gaining more muscle hasn't always benefited their game and natural abilities
    • Day 529, April 13, 2024 Did something to my right hip, so slow motion stuff with the backswing while simultaneously stretching/pushing that hip… It was hurt a bit on Monday, too, but the soccer game last night wasn't particularly wise, perhaps. 😉
    • Not only that, but there are significantly more of them getting better training. Jack wouldn't have 18 majors or 71 PGA Tour wins if he played in Tiger's place from 1996 onward.
    • Great,  below are details and I will be getting more specific next week. Saturday June 1st  Eaglesticks Golf Club 2655 Maysville Pike Zanesville, OH 43701 Tee Times to be finalized, I see some indications for noon, or at least not 10:15am.  I have a call in to see what is available on June 1st but for now we have 10:15am. They will provide an area for us to meet, eat & drink after the round Foo & Drink available to order at your expense. Sunday June 2nd Virtues Golf Club One Long Dr. Nashport, OH 43830 Tee Times beginning at 9am For those spending the night: Hampton Inn near the Virtues I need to get the correct address and will post. For those playing ONLY on Saturday: $75 for the round which includes the cart. For those playing both days & staying in the hotel: $239 per person - This price assumes Double Occupancy in the room for 2 golfers.  If you want an individual room for yourself to to stay alone or with a non-golfer that will need to be worked out.  For those staying in the hotel they a breakfast.  The $239 includes both rounds of golf, the hotel (Double occupancy) and taxes. Also, once I have contact info on the hotel you may be able to book Friday night for those driving in on Friday.  Naturally, where you stay is your call but it would be nice from a "Social" standpoint if we were in close proximity to each other.
