I need help choosing a driver. I am looking to spend around $200-$300 Cad. I was looking at these drivers so far:

Taylormade M2 2.0 Driver

Cobra FS8 or FS8+ Driver

Cobra f-max superlite offset driver

or any driver that someone can recommend

Also what flex should I buy?

The one that fits you the best.  At a minimum find a large golf retailer that offers a basic fitting utilizing a quality launch monitor.  You probably don’t need much more than that at your current level, but brand name alone isn’t enough to make that kind of decision at any level of play...

Welcome to the site.  We hope that you will stick around!

Welcome to TST @Tortz.   We're glad you've decided to join.

I'm no expert but the M2 from Taylormade seems to be popular.   I can't speak for the others.   What I will say though, go hit each driver to see which one "you" like best.   Our opinion on a golf forum is just that, an opinion.   @David in FL gave you some great advice.

M2 is probably your best bet. Get him fit if you can, particularly helpful if you can get on a launch monitor to measure your swing speed. That will go most of the way towards deciding what flex shaft is best.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7

There are still a lot of M2 drivers being played out there with an almost cult following. The Cobra drivers before the F9, most people will agree were not the best.

The F8 & F8+ are good drivers....I especially like the Nardo Grey finish.

    • That is a bit hyperbolic, I think. Most despicable is a bit much.  Again, a bit over the top here.  Most athletes are probably closer to being normal human beings than degenerates and avaricious scum.  Just sounds like you want to generalize all athletes because it is easy to do so. Hey, generalizing a subset of a population is entirely a human thing to do.
    • This is so awesome; my two biggest lifetime hero and the biggest superstars of the past 35 years in golf……both turned out to be the two of the most despicable human beings in professional sports… Between this and everyone whoring themselves out for Saudi Arabia… Used to love golf because I thought they were smarter, better people than the other sports. Turns out a huge percentage of them are total degenerates and avaricious scum like every other sport!

    • This isn't going to show you lateral dispersion at all. It's basically just a radar (for speed) launch monitor. It doesn't measure spin or anything like that. Not even launch direction.
