Dryvebox - Golf Lesson Comes to You

I've seen food trucks. Flower trucks. Kitchen utensil sharpening trucks. Library book trucks. Art class trucks. Commuter pass trucks. I never really thought of golf lesson trucks, but it doesn't seem like that crazy an idea to me.

It has a Trackman, video, although I don't know how they do face on video. It looks like that's an A/C unit?

The instructional per hour rate is pretty steep, but it is San Francisco and COLA, plus it does come to you.

Clearly, I'm not the target audience for this product. Getting old sucks. 

I'm watching it saying (out loud no less) "Damned it, can you stop with the quick cuts?! Hold the camera still? Would you just show the inside of the truck? Geez, get a haircut you damned hippie! ... Get off my lawn!!"

I've been following this company casually and it seems it's doing well, it's trying to raise money to expand. It was in New York and I missed it. If I hear where it'll show up around here, will try and pay it a visit. Still wondering how it does face on video though. Looks like it just doesn't. Maybe you could put a window on one of the sides.

10 miles of 80%? How many boxes would that be? Jeez.

So according to this piece, the idea came about because wife would not let hubby build a simulator at home so he said let's make a mobile one and park it outside, lol.

This piece was published early August and this was the size of the fleet:

There is hope for you!   I too was a curmudgeon,  but I saw the light.   I don't know which light but now I'm a reformed curmudgeon! 

I don't see this working in SE Michigan.  There are too many golf courses and indoor simulators available at a reasonable price.

That would be a cold trackman setup in my neck of the woods now.
