I just got tickets to see the Jesus of Cool, Nick Lowe, backed by Los Straightjackets.  I'll be listening to a good bit of this, old and new both.

      Day 13 (13 Jun 26) - Continued work with 7i, hard foam balls and getting consistent impact - spent half the drill using the ball box as a gate to battle coming over the top , other half with no gate - rather practice the setup and execution without assistance.

      Despite playing poorly today, I did birdie a hole 12.  A great drive (not distance wise, just stayed where I wanted it to) and then a pretty good 4-wood left me 60 yards to a pin tucked way right over a bunker.  Despite being within the range at which I am allowed to go for the pin, I instead aimed away from the bunker and focused on GIR.  A 27' downhill putt that I estimated at three fingers of break awaited me, which I sank.   I have to admit, this is not where I thought I'd make hole-12-birdie this year.

      Day 40, June 13.  Played 18 today at a new-to-me course.  It did not go well, largely due to how compact the course was and unfamiliarity.
