I know I've posted before with videos of Danny Gatton, probably the best guitar player I've seen live.  He killed himself a good long while back, but there's a new 1-hour documentary about his life and career.  Lots of interesting interviews, and lots of amazing music.  Its showing on PBS stations around the country, here's a link to the schedule:

Last night I got to see Keb Mo live again, this time in a fairly small hall (1600 seats.)  A great show, relaxed and homey feel, and probably the best sound mix I've ever heard.

And for guitar-playing folks, there's a documentary of Danny Gatton showing on various PBS stations.  One of the least-famous but best players ever, here's the schedule, and a taste:

      Yeah - I'll keep an eye on that - I've been across the line for about forever, so I assume that I want to overexaggerate the laid off bit to get it closer to square when I take a real swipe at the ball.

      First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.
