The trees were defoliated before they fell too. Very high winds.

They sure have their share of severe weather in Alabama. I get a bit antsy when we have bad weather here. I'd be a nervous wreck if I lived down there.

I lived about an hour south of there for a couple years in the 1980's. Strong thunderstorms would roll through every few days. Would always wonder, is this the one that will spawn a bunch of tornadoes? Subdivision I had lived in got hit hard a few years later. Wouldn't move back there for anything.

Lots of movable obstructions!

Natural objects are loose impediments. 🙂

This from a single tornado??? Wow.

Yes. They are no joke. We had a strong one come through Dayton a few years ago. We didn’t have quite as many trees go down, but they were stripped clean. You can still tell where it went through by the sparse foliage. It was only about three miles from my house and we heard the infamous train sound along with hail pounding our house. About an hour later, a second one formed and was headed straight four our neighborhood. It fortunately dissipated just before it got to our neighborhood.  The moral of the story is to take all tornado warnings serious.

    • Day 67: back at it after a day off. Played 9 holes and did about an hour of range work. Filmed and checked on my priority piece. Think I’m doing some parts better and other parts worse. The 9 holes weren’t great - shot +7 - and everything was roughly a B-.
    • Day 609 - 2026-06-02 Was going to play, but the course was very obviously going to be slow, so went to the range instead. And even got (sorry @DeadMan), some putting practice in. Mostly got help at the range (a set of eyes), and mostly helped someone else at the putting green.
    • Day 273 6‐2 more reconnecting the arm infront. Wrist arching through swing. Its looking better than it was, but no where close to where it needs to be. For some reason having trouble with the arching lately.
    • Day 2 (2 Jun 26) - worked on keeping arms connected to torso by using stretch band.  Hit 1/4 backswing shots to reinforce the feel of the connection.
    • Carl Pettersson is the Pancake Zone. The Swedish Pancake Club, Ranked - Fried Egg Golf Keegan Bradley just won his fifth PGA Tour event and became the latest member of the Swedish Pancake Club. Here's a ranking of that exclusive group. It's his sixth win in a decent length career. He's nondescript. I think it says he doesn't make waves, wins some second-tier events, hasn't had many close finishes in the top three in majors… and that only hard-core golfers follow the week-to-week. P.S. Five wins as personified by Carl Pettersson is the Pancake Zone. From Shotgun Start, I should say. It's not Carl per se, it's five wins.
