There is absolutely a chance this whole Brooks Koepka-Bryson DeChambeau thing is one big...

BK piling it on BDC with the caddy tweet haha

With the PIP they’ve got all to gain and nothing to lose. They’re both pretty unlikeable guys and will get bonus money for stirring things up. Let’s face it, Harris English isn’t gonna get a dime from the PIP.

That’s true. Additionally, it’s starting get one-sided. It’s a bit dull when it’s just BK egging him on.

Bryson has been acting very immature through all of this.

And Brooksie's been acting too serious through all of this.

Bryson DeChambeau misses cut in Rocket Mortgage Classic title defense .... sorry I can't copy the link from freep.com sports. Also links to a story on his caddy stand-in.

They are both bad and obvious actors... no PIP money for them.

Does the policy have an exclusion for such acts? I would’ve thought that the Tour would take the “any news is good news and is good for the Tour” mentality. Kids these days love drama.

At the Open Championship, Brooks Koepka fielded several questions on his feud with Bryson DeChambeau and its Ryder Cup impact.

I believe that Koepka could just go about business as usual with Bryson on the same Ryder Cup Team.

Yeah. Bryson seemed a little ‘Eddie Haskell’ about his own involvement with the ‘feud.’ I think they could end this easily but I’m not sure either  of them really know if they want to.
In the Bryson interview I didn’t agree with one of the journalists who asked ‘ how do you feel about Brooks promising people beer if they heckle you?’ That’s not how I remember the incident. Brooks just offered beer to those who were thrown out for heckling right? Meaning those already thrown out. There’s a difference or am I getting this wrong?

I prefer DeC. BK comes across as a try hard. DeC has always been technical and funky about style even before he turned pro. I remember them making a big thing about the same length clubs in the College/Amateur championship game. DeC makes the sport more interesting. Koepka is just a bit stupid about things.

This so-called feud is so empowered by the media, looking for dirt to spread. Media/news really caters to the peoples lust for negative news. Negative news sells.

Has anyone ever seen Koepka's teeth?  Has he ever smiled?  Does he live an expensive but unhappy existence?

I think the opposite is more true: Bryson is in Koepka's head.

    • Admirable!   Me--No matter where I bring my hands on the backswing, it's the downswing and impact speed that determine how far I flight a ball.  I might bring the back to shoulder, then my brain computes the distance and decelerates the club. On short shots, just the opposite.  Maybe tempo is my problem, but I do okay trusting my brain to the throw the club.  Too much technique and thinking really mess me up in the longrun.
    • Shot 89 today. Drove the ball very well, lost four balls on approach shots. Two were with a wedge in my hands inside 100 yards.
    • I wouldn’t. I like to see one number on the top as I quickly pull it out of my bag to play my next shot. If you want to know the loft of your club, say for gapping purposes, then look it up. Knowing the static loft of your club is not going to help you on the course, and does nothing but force me to look at two digits instead of one to determine which club I’m pulling out of the bag.
