Zero Friction tees and box of E6s. Boring, but necessary. I did have my new Ogio Itza bag delivered yesterday. Not home to see it yet, but looking forward to getting it set to play!

New alignment stick, snapped my sons at the range the other day and a big bag of tees.

Hahaha I'm glad you asked I was wondering the same. Anyway, grabbed a bag of plastic tees today. Curious to see if they snap easily.

in my experience:

the 5 tooth ones snap teeth and the heads off

the 3 tooth ones you'll lose before they break (they do bend though)

you're probably more likely to break one putting it into hard ground than you will hitting it.

they fly a lot further than wooden ones, not very fun at the range.

My ball is anything on sale

The pro shop had a garage sale. Picked up a white ZL Encore 8.5* for $159.00

Wilson gloves from Wal-mart $6 each, bought 5 for the price of one of my regular bionics. I go through a glove every 4-5 rounds(18) so I figure with 20 rounds left I'll be covered. plus these gloves have an extra patch were I wear through them...on drives

Finally was able to get the last remaining red Vdr grip for mt driver. New tm glove and new groove.brush.Also had the driver tweaked to a better setting.for my.swing.

I bought the only two TaylorMade Targa Tour gloves Sports Authority had in my size. They've been discontinued, so I'm going to a few places in the area this week to see if I can stock up. After that I'll have to look for comparable gloves. They have a new one just called the Targa, but it doesn't have as much of the elastic material. The new Stratus doesn't either. FootJoy has a few models that look okay, but they're pricier than the TaylorMades.

got these, I'm a high handicapper and this ball was great, low spin lots of compression and decent distance for me.  My slice was gone and finding my ball was a breeze, yeah they are pink but i don't think the ball knows if a man or woman is hitting it.  The ball felt so soft off my wedges and by the end of the day i had given most of them away to the other guys who were as i was very curious to try..  Tomballgolf sent me an email with a thank you and a $25 credit to use on their site so will be ordering more, yes the make yellow and white but i'll be getting pink again!

Black Nike Heritage III's in honor of Tiger's win in Ohio.

Their spikes are pronounced and give great grip.  Have a great athletic feel when walking and are flexible and fit tight (read: well).  They will make for good winter shoes.

Look how closely Ernie plays his ball to his alignment stick.  Wowza!!

A pair of True Sensei shoes. Very comfortable that I wear them to work as well.

    • You can pre-order an R50 here for pretty rapid shipping (these are back-ordered almost everywhere): https://www.playbetter.com/products/garmin-approach-r50-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A700794. This is an affiliate purchase, and I'm willing to kick back lifetime ad-free Supporter membership here on TST or a 90-minute GEARS session for the cost of a regular member lesson (about 1/3 the cost). Also, I'll record a video myself soon when I get an R50.
    • Day 58 - 2024-11-27 Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.
    • Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.
    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
