There was a putting contest at the PGA Tour Superstore: be the last man standing to make a 30-foot putt and win two tickets to the Tour Championship. I picked up a TaylorMade Rossa Corzina that happened to be on sale...and missed the putt. They were to hold another contest in an hour, so I stuck around, and started making putt after long putt with it. The next contest came...and my putt lipped out. I didn't get the tickets, but I bought the putter.

Just went to Golfsmith, looking for a good deal on a used wedge. I found a barely-used McGregor MT-pro forged 58-degree wedge for $49.

It now sits in my bag, waiting for me to find trouble during my round this afternoon.

Yesterday at the PGA Tour Superstore I picked up a Ping 23* Hybrid and ordered a set of Ping G15 Irons! Hit the hybrid today like a dream. If the irons treat me as nice, I'll be in hog heaven!

I've spent more on golf clubs this summer than in the past 10 years put together. My last golf purchase though, was a full set of used clubs from Kijiji. I was looking for another set of Hogan Apex PCs in case something happens to my set (2-E Apex PCs with Apex 3 shafts.

I picked up a set of Apex PCs with Apex 4s shafts (plus a Spalding carry bag, 3 Slazenger metal woods, a Fazer putter, Northwestern 60 wedge - a total POS - and a Ram Tom Watson 50 PW - exactly like the one I already have).

I played 4-holes this evening (long story) and everything felt great. The guy had recently regripped with Golf Pride Tour Velvet full cords - for $100 I am pleased.

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
