Knocked off 3 holes in the last 2 days - 1, 6, and 8. I also had good chances with putts of about 10' on 2 and 3 for birdie that I didn't make, but them's the breaks.

Down to 5 holes left: 2, 3, 10, 14, and 17. About a month ahead of where I was last year, and I have a lot of golf left this year.

I've been on a good stretch recently, 4 birdies on Friday, 4 today.  Friday didn't change anything, but today I got 17 (short par-4), but more importantly I got 12, a long uphill par-4 that I didn't birdie last year, and maybe not the year before either.

Played really well and made two birdies tonight, both on par-5's. Birdied #10 on a sweet fifteen-foot-putt. (That one's new.) I also birdied #14, that ones not new.

Had the round of my life today with 7 birdies (only 1 new one to report in the Google doc) and 11 pars. Broke par and also 70 with a 65!

My round was treated at an exceptional one and two strokes were applied to the differential as well as my last 20 rounds🤣. So my-3.6 became me a -5.6 differential overnight.

Knocked off 14! Down to 10 and 17. I feel pretty good about getting those - on the course I play most, 10 is an easy par 5, and 17 is a par 5 as well.

Birdied #15 at Fox Hollow Country Club today. Par 5, hit the best drive I hit all day (very few drivers on this course) and hybrid just left of the green. Up and down for birdie.

Birdied #4 at Quail Brook today. Tees were up today and it was only 146 to the flag. Hit it 12’ right of the hole and made the putt.

That’s just my second birdie of the front nine at my home course this year? Man I’m playing like trash.

Birdied 10 and 17 today to complete the (away) challenge! Both of the birdies were tap in birdies on par 5s (hit the green in 2 and was in the fringe pin high in 2), but I was a little nervous over both putts. I wasn't taking a gimme to finish the challenge, dammit.  Also, 17 was a hole I missed last year, so it was one I was a little worried about.

Now I guess I need to make an eagle or two or get to -19 or lower.

Played my first 9 holes of golf a week ago after having right hip replacement surgery October 24th.  9th hole is a Par 5, hit a great drive thru the fairway, hit a solid punch with my 3 hybrid iron and it went green side left. Beautiful lob shot next to the pin and made a short birdie putt. Shot a solid 44 in the process.

This was at the course i play by our cabin, Crosswoods.

Finally got to play my home course Southview CC and that is where reality set in.

Great job! Returning after major surgery is never easy.  May you continue to have success.

I went in to register a birdie (hole #1 reminder to me) and it looks like the google docs had a hiccup:

Yep. Someone on… July 16 at 10:43am deleted everything.

I've restored it.

    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
    • I have access to far more data (including surveys and polls) than you do with your anecdotes. I mean this as plainly and literally as possible: you’ve demonstrated that you do not. They would, one way or the other.
    • Yes, but you don't live in the UK, so you have no idea what we think about it here. It's a very different mindset here, to demonstrate the fact you should consider 9 out of 10 games we play here are Stableford, whereas you you almost solely play medal. Neither is right or wrong, it's just different  I'm trying to avoid swearing here. Once again, and for the 1000th time, I understand the system, I just don't agree with it. Is there anything wrong with that? PS, I do not have the time or patience to post my results, especially as they prove nothing  That's because 99% of the posters are Yanks
